Hello,

I noticed few insanely tanky tempests roaming in wvw with quite high burst in air and great sustain. Does anyone have proper build i would like to understand it and even try.

I believe its earth fire tempests, possible celestial parts but im really not sure , bursts are quite high.

Dagger/focus, bursts are both power but strong condi ticks (celestial ???).

I had really nice duel with tempest roamer with really nice deeps sustain and awesome cc strips but he left quite fast and i didnt get chance to ask for build. Any of u who main eles (not my main) care to share build ?

I wish you stream more. Main reason i still play core ele sometimes are ur streams.

Shield: War shield is only shield that requires trait to have added secondary function, this needs to be fixed.

Greatsword: Rush is on gs 5 is still missing targets most time.

Sword: Main hand sword , would like trait rework to make it power or condi focused.

Mace: rework to make it viable. Main hand and off hand both have no use in any game mode pve or pvp/wvw.

I fully agree on this, most classes that use block skills have those on pointless lvl atm. Unblockable is bad mechanic.

I must really disagree with you on few points.

Condi mesmer, i hardly see how you would have chance due to boonstrip and condi spam.

Thief, d/p, de rifle, and lets not forget sw/p that was nerfed now.

Condi rev, here i really dont see how u think war can fight one, on any build.

All this i mention consider same or close skill lvl of player.

I wish im wrong on this but i hardly think i am.

Can we have serious discussion about roaming wvw warrior builds ?

Im playing on eu servers and used to main war for a log time, so i guess i have some idea on how class works (10k hours on war). I think that for past 1y warrior is a joke roaming class in wvw. I met several really great war players , but whwn dueling or doing normal 1v1 , its so easy to drain them of their skills and kill them , its really getting sad.

Not to go into details, i more wish ur opinion, what class you as roamer war can face and hope to win right now , and pls dont say warrior :) ?

My opinion is, none. War currently cant sustain himself in 1v1 . Ofc here im not talking about bunker builds that cant kill anything, so no shout minstrel war talk.

What do leaderboards really say? Nothing much tbh. I can also see bot getting high on leaderboards due to lucky team carry. How about we check monthly tornaments ? How many warriors there ? And why ?

In what world is spb S tier ? Spb at least in wvw is suicide note in 1v1. Also core mesmer is top still and clse by are mirage builds.

Specific builds of scourge are used for 1v1 dueling too.

Giving my full support in this. If anything is killing game for majority of wvw players its this. Its already time to address this or you will losing not just players but whole game mode since no one lije to play it as it is .

I have feeling that half posters on war forums never played war at all in wvw scenario. 15k AD ? Where how much vulnerability stacks ? Or naming players who never streamed second of gameplay but present themself trough edited/bought outnumbered fights in wvw ?

War sustain is not problem if war had mobility in combat, skills that actually work ( rush , helloooo ) weapons that dont know are they power or condi (sword) slugish useless pve only (100b) and silly like mace. Lets talk shield on war in compare to chrono or engi ?

Can anyone give class (roaming build) that is currently worse in combat scenario or that is countered by warrior ? Outdated skills and mechanics from 2012 are the war sustain issue.

Take any skilled necro, thief, rev , ranger and no warrior in wvw scenario have chance in 1v1.

What we can do is report report and report. Warrior community was always back on heals hardly ever we join to talk to anet. I hope anet ppl can take proper skilled tester and notice in how bad state warrior in wvw is .

Today i went for roaming on condi rev. Made it tb stats malix and dwarf. I found some really cool war guy was high rank and obviously skilled player, if u roam u know if other guy is good quite fast. Anyway it was a joke fights i could facetank him and no matter what build he try he would be losing while i didnt go below 70% hp. And worst part my skill level on condi rev is from 1to 10 , maybe 3, while he is prolly 8 or even 9.

I was quite honestly so upset i closed game after this. To me , watching skilled player like he was lose to broken shit class and bad play was too much.

Now that was rev, i could have go for de with awesome hide > daze>10k dmg port rotation or pew pew kite ranger or reaper carpace, core necro, condi fb, i bet result would be quite similar to same.

Anyway long rant but in general war is in crap place and i just wish community actually stand up once and say it.

Rush should have skill note : chance to hit , similar to drop rates of chak infusion.

I also hope anet do something , but i really hardly believe they care for legis since so little care to make them. But this concerns me for future a lot more. Is Cantha gonna be all goodies in gem shop and boring crappy leftovers to be ingame ?

Now that legis are available , and some ppl got them, ho do you feel about its animations ?

For me im a bit disappointed . Yeu do move weirdly when you have both , they tend to lose its "3d" look when turning char and animation in is just a bit , meh.

Just how i feel wish to see what u guys say ?
