  1. * **Give mirage its second dodge back** * Change chaotic interruption because it's unreliable * Malicious Sorcery should be the base AA speed of scepter * Escape Artist is useless, nobody choses this over Phantasmal Haste or Maim the Disillusioned * Delete Chronophantasma and make every Phatasms stronger (or unkilleable ?) * Dune Cloak should directly steal the boons instead of doing what it's currently doing * Empowered Illusions and Bountiful Blades shouldn't be on the same tier * Buff staff 3 and 4 * Many spells are still clunky like Arcane Thievery or Mirage Thrust * Any glamour trait would be lovely. * Phantasms shouldn't go full CD when ennemy is out of range
  2. PvP is so depleted in terms of population that some Gold 3 are in the "top 250" (in EU)
  3. > @"Kodama.6453" said: > Just like dual shields and dual foci, dual scepters simply look incredibly dumb. I hope this never happens.... Oh boy, haven't you played Divinity Original Sins 2 ? Dual scepters is funny build in this game
  4. I mean, I don't see anything wrong with class stacking. If a team is made of five indentical class with the same build and they win, perhaps it's not the fault of the class stacking, but more because of the balance of the build. If a team is made of five indentical class but with different builds, I don't even see it as class stacking. A burn guard is totally different from a boon guard. A condi mesmer is not the same as a power mesmer, and I don't see why they can't both play in the same team.
  5. Most class stacking aren't intentionnal, and if it wasn't allowed, then the population will be even lower and you will get longer queue and more unbalanced matchmaking (algorithm will favor different class, instead of similar elo)
  6. Hello, i'm a PvP player so I will comment your build from a PvP point of view. * For PvP content a second weapon set is obligatory, you should take any set of weapon different from the first one. Because you want to play power, you should take GS as second weapon set. If you really like utilities and original power build, you could try to take staff (great mobility but low dps), or wand + torch (wand 3 can be great burst if well placed, stealth of torch is great utility). Sword off hand can be good as power damage in PvE, it can be niche for PvP content. Focus is great for PvE content (pull mobs) but useless for PVP imo. * I higly suggest you to take **Signet off illusion** instead of sand through glass, not only it gives you distorsion and 1 clone thanks to blurred inscription, it also reset the CD of all your shatters * Dune Cloak can be a good choice for PvP content, notably on some choke point (bell of Revenge of the Capricorn, or Tranquility at Temple of the Silent Storm) but for PvE content, I don't really understand. Mobs don't have boons generally and I think that you will get more dps by having IH. * Even if signet of midnight is made to improve condi dps, I always use it for PvP because it short CD stunbreak+stealth +distortion + 5 dispel (given you take blurred inscription) which is a really great utility. * Ambush can be kind of tricky for PvP content. You only get one dodge (there are tons of discussion on why this is horrible but I think that you already know that), so I understand that you want to have a lot of Mirage Mirror to create the opportunity of having a ambush attack ,however there are 2 major problem with Mirage Mirror : first, many ambush can be easilty interrupted, notably the wand/staff/sword ambush attacks have animation that are really long, and interruption can really cripple your dps in a PvP matchup. Second, enemies can see your Mirage Mirror, and therefor, know where you will move. Not only they can cast their AOE on the Mirror, they know that as soon you're going on the Mirror, there is an opportunity to interrupt you. Personnaly, i'll use **Illusionary Ambush** instead of Crystal Sands because you will get an ambush without having to get a Mirror, and it also breaks enemy targeting which is really great for PvP. * Otherwise, I think that your other choice of traits and utilities are good for PvP content
  7. Maybe you will struggle to lvl up because mesmer is squishy but it's still very good for PvE content. You don't have much AoE to tag all the mob during big events, but for fractales and raid, mesmer is still a good choice.

The profession runs the risk of being worse off after another haphazard revision, so maybe the profession is safer & better off forgotten ?‍♀️ How could Mesmer become worse ? We just want our second dodge back
  9. I'm sorry, mesmer doesn't offer much right now in PvP content, in fractale however it can be usefull as a dps source and can be nice to pull mobs.

A dodge covers 300 units. Speed of Sand grants 66% movement speed for 0.75 seconds. Base >movement speed in combat is 210 units per second. >210u/s * 1.66 * 0.75s = 261.45 units. That's a lot less than the 300 units from a normal dodge. Speed of Sand is also affected by movement impairing conditions like chill or >cripple. In that case it covers even less ground. And it only works in the forward direction, not sideways or backwards.

  12. I don't agree, 2 dodges should be the minimum of dodge given for an elite spec based on dodge. No trait should give mirage another dodge, mirage already has 2 dodge in PVE and it should have also 2 in PvP. Thief daredevil, which is a dodge base elite has THREE dodges. Having only 1 dodges create a big disruptency in the gameplay of the game and it has been repeated 1000 times but they don't want to revert this change. If elusive mind could give one more dodge, everybody is going to take this trait and not the two other because it's too much essential to have 2 dodges to survive in PvP.
  13. I love to create some pvp bullshit build so i present you : **VIVA LA INTERRUPTION** http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PiwAYtrlVwoYXMEWJO8LnteA-zZoKkMrgeTguDBfGA Take chrono, press F4 , do pistol 4 and then all CC available, once CS is finished, repeat. If you're opponent didn't die, you will bc you don't have any survivability rip.
  14. Don't forget that for illusion trait, we have the choice between **Escape Artist** and **Maim the Disillusioned**... I wonder what people are taking between the two...
  15. Bots are mainly mesmer because it's less suspicious to see a mesmer TP and going invisible than it is for a elem or nec
