  1. I actually really liked what they did with the animation change on GS 4 (shows off your gs skin a little bit more than the old animation)! The biggest issue I have with it is how long it takes for the phantasm to turn into a clone after its attack

  2. The roaming meta is the play cheese or get cheesed.

    We got perma invis deadeyes, dodge and teleport spamming thieves/daredevils, unkillable boon beasts and core necros, 25k damage bursts from stealth mesmers and condi revs dishing out more torment than anyone's childhood trauma...welcome to WvW, pick your cancer

  3. I really like this! It's creative, unorthodox and opens up more interesting gameplay options rather than using the standard ez rez skill off cooldown whenever there is a downed teammate. The issue is, it would make downstate and rezzing less overpowered than it already is and anet would never let that happen

  5. I long for the days when the Warclaw **WASN'T** in WvW. The terrible handling of its release with all the bugs/exploits, difficulty to dismount from the free 10k barrier and the snowball advantage it granted to the larger group left a sour taste in my mouth and I have questioned Anet's competence ever since.

     

    _Also they recently took away the one thing I liked about the mount which was the insta stomp on downed people because fuck actually having counters to the broken rez mechanic_

  6. I waited 4 months to see what changes their significantly delayed balance patch would bring. Unsurprisingly the meta hardly changed at all with little new viable builds emerging and the already good ones staying good. Nope, I'm not going to play for another 4-5 months in this sh!tfest of a game hoping that they'll get it right next time. I'm cutting myself off from this abusive relationship

  7. I like how alliances is noticibly absent from your Q3 roadmap. Can't wait to hear your PR rats say "alliances is still on the table" during the 8th anniversary celebration and then proceed to be silent on it for the rest of the year

  8. The original warclaw stomp was one of the very few things I agreed with for the mount in WvW cause it actually provided some counterplay to how overpowered downstate and rezzing is. But fuck that lets just once again further devolve this game mode into whoever has the most numbers so they can be carried by the utterly broken downstate mechanic

  9. Power Mesmer is a squishy class that often relies on attacking using the element of surprise and kiting. Literally all thief builds can outstealth your stealth and have enough gap closers and mobility that kiting is useless/impossible. Not to mention consume plasma on their insta cast steal skill gives them every boon in the game to make your life even harder. Best case scenario is stealth up and just run to get out of combat or burst them when they don't know you're there

    And instead of any population balance being made, we had gliding, watchtowers and mounts come out which all in my opinion, took away from the WvW experience than added to it
