  1. I'm not sure why people would have an issue with this. Crecia is a charr, and a charr from Blood Legion at that. The charr are trained to shut up their emotions and do what's best for the military--to function like a well-oiled machine. Of course Crecia, as someone from that culture, is going to scoff at the humans' emotions getting in the way of them surviving a battle. Blood Legion culture is even more extreme in this direction--their soldiers have less patience and shorter tempers on average. Honestly, for Blood Legion, Crecia is **incredibly** restrained and level headed (probably traits she learned during her childhood years in Flame Legion)--but she's still a Charr soldier, and should still be portrayed as such.

I also don't see the connection being made between Crecia acting judgmental = Anet is judgmental. Crecia and the Ascalonians are characters in the story Anet is writing... their goal is to portray believable characters within the world they've established, not "judge" a segment of those characters as if they were real people against whom there is a grudge.

  2. "A lack of good major male characters"

Uhh, hate to burst your bubble but we have.....

Braham, Ryland, Rytlock, Bangar, Gorrik, Canach, Logan, Lord Faren, and Efram.... 9 major male characters I can think of off the top of my head. If you argue that "well, all those guys SUCK," it makes no difference--that is your subjective opinion. The fact is, there is plenty of representation of male characters from all races and of all personality types.

"I want male characters that I PERSONALLY LIKE" is a valid want. However, your dislike of the current male cast doesn't mean there isn't enough/equal male representation.

No, but the LORE of the GAME dictates the rules of resurrection, and that is where Konig is getting his explanation.

  4. This has been happening to me for the past 2 weeks. The game is completely unplayable. Nothing has changed on my end--same computer, same router, ect. I went through all the troubleshooting suggestions for error 7's suggested by arenanet, and nothing helped. When I first log in, I can get about 3 minutes of lag-free playtime. Then suddenly, the game just stops and I'm disconnected. If I'm SUPER DUPER lucky, I can get 10 minutes before the disconnects... but once it happens the first time, it's impossible to log back in for the next hour or so--I disconnect as soon as the map loads. And after that hour, it's the same... I can log in for 3 minutes until disconnect.

Agreed. If this isn't a glitch... I'm kind of blown away by how poorly thought out and badly designed this is.

    > I suspect the eye effect has something to do with what the glow is 'attached' to (To the eyeball rigging? The air in front of the face?) and it's an issue with other skins like the [Toy Shell Infusion](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Toy-Shell_Infusion) and [sun-Blessed Vision](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sun-Blessed_Vision), both of which have weird twitchy dots of light that don't exactly line up with the eyes instead of making the eyes themselves glow. What's especially weird is that I don't remember that being a problem with older skins like [Glint's Gaze](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Glint%27s_Gaze_Mask_(medium_skin)) which seem to have the glow set perfectly into the eyes.

    >

    > Don't know if I have any characters who'd wear this outfit, but some pieces of it look quite nice - just not those eyes for the weirdness stated above.

Sun-blessed vision has additional issues that haven't been fixed yet--it doesn't show up on the character select screen, and it glitches in preview and the character panel to be freakishly bright. It's really too bad, because I've been waiting for "fire eyes" FOREVER--specifically for my lynx-face charr. We now have two possibilities between sun blessed vision and the nightstalker outfit, and both give her stupid glowing eyebrows -.-''

  7. I really like the Nightspeaker Outfit overall, especially the headpiece. HOWEVER, the headpiece has some visual problems on some of the newer Charr faces. Since all 3 of my mains are charr using these faces, I won't buy the outfit unless the visual issues are fixed. Namely, the glow that is supposed to be set in the eye sockets is out of place--it floats above or to the side of the character's eyes. Instead of creating an intimidating effect, this makes it look like the character has silly glowing eyebrows. In particular, I have noticed this problem on the female charr Lynx face (the one Vishen Steelshot has), and the female charr spiked face (the one Boticca the Olmakhan lady has).

Has anyone else had visual problems with this outfit on their characters, charr or otherwise?

    > Her relationship with Braham also seems to've become platonic, just like Logan and Jennah. Presumably this is out of respect, as Braham hasn't quite forged his legend yet, especially after failing to kill Jormag; not actual loss of interest on Rox's part. In fact they seemed to be closer in LS4 than in any other part of the story, and their parting seemed rather difficult.

    >

Her "relationship" with Braham was ALWAYS platonic. Arenanet have stated they're just friends--never were romantic.

  9. Not only is it lorebreaking, as mentioned above, but just... ew. Female charr are not meant to look "cute kawaii kitty fru fru"... they look gross and unsettling when people abuse the sliders to make them that way. They're meant to be demonic bloodthirsty WAR cats. Even the most feminine female charr should still be sleek and strong... not something from Barbie dress-up. Cute little skirts do not belong on war cats... except maybe as a joke.

My vote is to go with lore and good aesthetics and keep 99% of outfits gender-neutral on charr. There have been some cases where the "girl" version of something looks okay on female charr (Bandit Sniper Outfit, Imperial Outfit, Ritualist Outfit, Braham's outfit) and sadly, other cases where it looks horrid (Exemplar Attire, Fancy Winter Outfit). Generally the cases where it's okay are cases where the "girl" outfit looks sleek or tribal... but get into poofy dresses, cute skirts, and overtly "sexy" attire and it's gonna look awful.

  10. -More character customization. Additions to hair/ear/horn/tattoo ect options and to face options. But also the ability to affect other details--more body types. There are NPC body types, especially among norn, charr, and humans, which are unavailable to players. Give us those. And while you're at it, add in new customization details--scars, ect.

    -Playable Tengu

-Kurzick and Luxon armors, clothing, and creation options for humans

-A reworking of all old armor skins to fit to charr, norn, and asura bodies better. Huge floating shoulders should be downsized, tail and other severe clipping should be fixed, and hats that remove ears and/or horns should allow the ears/horns to show through.

    > Problem: The Sun-Blessed Vision cosmetic has drastically different glow intensity in the wardrobe and preview windows compared to the in-world appearance, to the point where the in-world appearance can become a deal-breaker, which is the case for my outfit. The asura I plan(ned?) to use it on is the best, most visible example of this issue thanks to the size of her eyes. To the left is the wardrobe tab, in the center is the in-world appearance. If you would be so kind, I would appreciate a fix to this problem that will make the in-world version just as bright as the preview/wardrobe one.

Sun Blessed Vision has a number of anomalies. It does not show up on the character select screen or in the total makeover kit preview--it's as if there is no headpiece equipped. It also floats slightly ABOVE the eyes on the female charr lynx face (the one Vishen Steelshot has), instead of over the eyes.

  12. The new headpiece skin, Sun Blessed Vision, has a few weird anomalies.

    1. In total makeover previews and the character select screen, it will not appear on characters.

    2. When previewing armor, it will sometimes flare up to eye-burning (ha-ha) brightness way beyond what you see on the character. You can usually get this to happen by selecting "Clear Preview." Other times, the opposite will happen and the glow will be too dim.

    3. On some charr faces--particularly the female charr Lynx face (the one Vishen Steelshot has), the glow sits slightly too high up for the eyes--creating a weird glow ABOVE the eyes instead of actually over them.

  13. I don't get why people in the forums freak out with negativity after every chapter release. The story follows the obvious trajectory that has been built up all along, and people act mad and surprised (or they invoke Squidward and go on a_ -this content is crap, everything A-net does is wrong, just as I expected-_ rant)

It's as if people have their own image of How Things Should Go, and get mad when the canon doesn't match their image. That, or they expect the story quality of a top-notch fantasy novel, which is silly.

As MMO's go, GW2's story is engaging and good quality.

  14. Actually, none of the charr shown at 1:10 are player characters--they are Dominion map champions representing Blood, Ash, Flame, Iron, and Frost Legions--hence why the one has those horns. So no, I don't think the frosty horns are being released. They're advertising the "Tribune" weapons, and those map champions are all Tribunes.

  15. If I want to socialize, I go talk to my friends and family. Chatting with a stranger in a computer game doesn't hold a candle to real socialization and human connection, IMO. I may banter with someone in chat for giggles now and again, but for the most part, gaming time is my alone time.

  16. I totally disagree about the charr and male norn. I do NOT want another Khajiit race (human body/posture with a furry head glued on top). And Norn are already WAY too humanlike--I think the males should be kept as they are. The norn FEMALES, on the other hand, should be made bigger and bulkier, more like the males. As they are, the norn females just look like Humans Except With Bigger Breasts.

As for the human males, I 100% agree. And while you're at it, make the human females look less plastic too.

  17. I feel like they could modify the cape on charr backs to make it look a little more natural. Frankly, I'd prefer a compromise--accept a little bit of clipping to reduce the floating. A little bit of clip and a little bit of float looks better then TONS of float for no clip or TONS of clip for no float.
