  1. i think it will be tengu as there where tengu in cantha as well back in gw1 factions.

     

    possibly the race arrives with cantha therefore.

     

    just hope they will have nice facial design and look like dangerous eagles not like the ones we have ingame like mushi mushi mushi birds...

     

    of they look like mushi mushi birds can directly leave it. we are fashion wars not mushi wars.

     

  2. please anet give us an update to this because the product i once bought was nerfed after sale what is forbidden in the country i live in by law and its pretty kitten if a commander cant change the map with his squad because of queues and its not possible to really adjust the classes inside a squad because as soon as you want to change your class you are in a +30 ppl queue and can call it already a evening and log off.

     

    so finally tell us when we get the product back we once paid for.

  4. see if your class has any reflect skills that reflects projectiles back on the enemy.

     

    or multiblock skills like guardians focus 5 skill that raise up a shield which can block multiple attacks.

     

    thats pew pew ranger where active defense meta comes into play mucho

  5. i like its difficulty but like everything in core game the more you come towards the end the more the game feels unfinished like the devs had not enough time to develope the game properly to end and just did their best to fullfill release date by doing just „something“.

     

    is like „meh i have spend hours to get here just for THIS!?!?!?“

  6. my blocklist grew up also pretty much as a pure necro player.

     

    mostly because spvp. i was in hospital 3 weeks and when i came back i dropped down from platinum to somewhat lower silver cause of inactivity. on my way back up i got alot spam of low educated players who just dont know how to fight, trying to compensate their loser feeling by trying to win somewhat vocal fight. most the time they lie and put false reality of the fight to trigger you. that is lack of intelligence cause they could instead ask questions to learn more and get to improve. yeah it happens mostly in spvp bronze, silver and gold. in platinum only if you mess up really bad and team loses cause of your error but thats legitimate criticism for me as in the upper ranks its for the win and league ranks.

     

    i offer them 1vs1 in pvp server, most of them shut up then. the best way to handle the low educated is to let action speak instead of words is my experience.

  7. Yesterday evening 3 Zergs inside Bay and my Arc Dps opened a new window with "Error: Combat Area queue overload" and it counted the error rapidly upwards to 4000~

     

    When I teleported back to spawn the counter stopped. So I went back through camp to bay and the error counter rapidly started counting again towards the 6000~ errors.

     

    I took screenshots but unfortunately the ingame screenshot function only records GW2 and not ArcDps. Next time i use external screenshot tool or record video.

     

    I think is something of configuration and server power. The game wants to handle the player actions but too much and overflow.

    hmm from what you write it sounds that you dont need any class advise but what would help you more is getting some insight of how the classes are played.

  9. performance. need to get rid of „skill lag“ once and for all.

     

    closing t5 in eu was good but need to improve performance to allow for more people to enter the maps now.

     

    the queues are a too high price to fill the maps with current gap.

     

    when i come home 1 hour after reset on fridays i close the game short after login cause no chance getting on a map so leave it.

     

    and dont fool us with rewards. the new armors are just ingame for the sake of „can say we did something“ but they are just not to meantion.

    8 years passed and we get alibi crap...

  10. i dont want after all the years anet to spend always time on new player experience.

    is like running in a circle, stop thinking that new players are babys who cant think on their own.

     

    everybody who can plug a pc to an internet router and go online, manage to install the game can get into it.

     

    for the sake of advancement stop babysitter other people around!

  11. i kill them as vanilla core necro.

     

    corrupt, fear, burst in shroud, kite, marks, rinse and repeat.

    important is get rid of their boons quickly, leave shroud if corrupt is needed again, corrupt with scepter 3 and focus 5 and corrupt boon utility if they come close while you left shroud, use staff 5 to fear them off again, keep an dodgelength distance at least, if you have no lifeforce quickly kite them and drop your staff marks behind you, enter shroud again on 50% lifeforce, dark path , doom, life transfer tainted shackles.

     

    classical emergency fleshwurm and spectralwalk.

     

    running in a circle makes them go insane it seems ;)

     

  12. i would need more explanations of what is meant with necro not having defense possibilities?

     

    the necro fullfills high defense strength by kiting, boon corrupt, using fear and the shroud at the right time.

    we got 2 teleports which can be used in kombo or for safety or for quick escape to a higher grounded position.

     

    the key is kiting and loading lifeforce up again to go over into pressure attack on the enemy again. in a classical close combat barfight (block and burst) the necro is a easy target and im glad that it is this way. gw2 is a rather pokemon type of combat design. not every pokemon can fight the same way like the others.

     

    have a look at the necros skills and dont just think of attacking with them but how you can use it for defense. your problem is getting close combat burst, how will you counter that?

     

    i just started in spvp season and i have so much fun that my trend is spvp being my gamemode until christmas.
