They feel way too clunky. Feels like you are perma afflicted with Slow. Losing the on demand evade killed it.

To
5k + 4 x 400 = 6.6k heal
on a 30sec CD, that requires you to be loaded by condi to even be fully effective.

Marauder and divinity is now a tanky build?
I thought that was just a generic DPS build... just not a full on Zerky glass DPS build.
2.6 isnt 4k either, so I do feel I was justified in what I said in stating that you require far more than the Press 1 collect 4k.
If you drop that SoS for more Ferocity your armour will also suffer.. then you are that much closer to being glassy.

Its 4k auto with 25 vuln stacks on target **and** 25 might **and** sic em active **whilst** merged with a dps pet...

I dont know what their definition of tanky is - apparently it just means taking the WS traitline, but still in zerk gear with scholar runes. LUL.

Well if it was actually broken we'd be seeing a HUGE demand for unstoppable soulbeasts in groups in WvW.. Comms crying out for MOAR BOWS!
And super sweaty pro roamer / GvG squads like Cake Walk would use Soulbeast more in their self fellating promo vids. Theyve never used one. Not once.
If soulbeast was broken in sPvP then Boyce wouldnt be playing anything else in tournies and easymode Sind sure as hell wouldnt be on teef.
So. Respectfully I think you are utterly utterly wrong on how broken Soulbeast is.
Its good at killing bads and newbies, and thats it.

Otherwise Id love a PBS that ignores stab... and dmg that ignores group perma prot... and an unblockable stack that isnt consumed by each target/shield infront of the target guardian. Youd be lucky to hit that guardian with 2 penetrating shots - and then due to the way OWP works they wouldnt take that damage either.

why would you want another projectile weapon when CMC is driven to make them utterly ineffective in a world of 100% reflects/barriers and make all unblockable buffs utterly useless?

Imagine playing guardian and dying to single target projectile weapons. Yikes.

It did not get fixed.
If you fire an arrow with piercing through 2 targets it will use 2 stacks of your 10 unblockables.
It was an awful change and it made Signet of the Hunt etc worthless. Not sure why it was changed. It just further extended the ludicrousness of single target projectile hate in this aoe centric mess of a game.

oh goody.. now i get to show/hide rarity rather than store anything thanks to 8 years of muscle memory and a UI you just arbitrarily decided to make a "change" to.

Unblockable got reduced to a very limited number of attacks over time - HUGELY buffing reflects and blocks which still operate under the old "infinite number of attacks stopped over X duration".

Once upon a time in game design Ranged AOE was weakest, with single target Melee being the strongest in terms of dmg output.
So brave of the Anet balance professionals to subvert expectations.

In my defence.. my post was from 2 years ago.. before the mechanic change for soulbeast where merging now actually triggers any pet swap procs - due to the loss of the 2nd pet.
