    Erm, No? Phantasms were a skill with a phantasm, it lived and did dmg until you shattered it or it died, it was easier to see that it was not the mesmer because, well pink and shiny, biggest difference between phantasm and clone was:

     

    phantasm: high hp, high power dmg, nearly no condi dmg, pink and shiny.

    clone: low hp, low dmg, good condi dmg, but best for shatter spikes, looks exatly like the mesmer.

     

    "Always summoned a clone at the end" , is not true, we had a trait that allowed us that a shattered phantasm got replaced with a clone (if you did not used that trait there was never a clone that replaced the phantasm if you shattered the phantasm) and before that every new summoned clone replaced the phantasm (it shattered itself), they changed that so that if you had the maximum number of clones and phantasm out you simply did not summoned a new one (and so you did no longer overwrite your summoned phantasm) until one got destroyed /shattered.

     

    So you always had the choice: destroy for high dmg or keep for long term dmg and a little bit tank in pve (mostly to pull aggro away from you for a short time, so that you could get the needed heal.)

    Again: I never saw someone afk as a mesmer with a phantasm, they always got fast destroyed in pvp and in pve if they took to much dmg OR their target died, they always died if their target died (big difference to necro minions) and of course you could use them FOR short term tanking (or to say: the phantasm attacked after summoning while you yourself with very low hp stopped to attack so the aggro from the enemies swapped for a short time to the phantasm, now you gained the needed seconds to cast your heal (wich maybe was on CD seconds before), now with clones it feels like a hit and run, because no clone is really able to take aggro away (to low self dmg, just good for shatter dmg) and IF it takes aggro it is an instant dead for the poor clone (i mean: they are one hit).

    Someone got the point: an elite spec that has nothing to do anymore with shatters and fast dmg and more with sustained dmg and replaced f1 -f4 skills, because yes: having both phantasms AND clones interfered with each other and was not really good to balance, but a new elite spec wont hurt if it takes the shatters away and replace them with sustain (i mean before druid everyone said: healers would never work here in gw2 and now all say that it was a great idea to implement the druid "a welcome change, a fresh breeze for the game" and looking at the soulbeast: a hunter without pet, but with the ability to use the pet skills a great idea).

     

    So yes: You GOT THE POINT, because a third elite spec with the same old shatters sounds really boring, looking at all the other classes that got fresh new ideas for f1-f4 while we have 2 specs with the same old shatters, i would love to have the old phantasms reworked into a new elite spec with new f1 - f4.

    Oh no, i DONT want to shatter them, i want to keep them ( and reduce the number of max summoned to 1, 2 with trait), ehm why does summoning phantasms buff shatter 1 in any form? The dmg is based on the max number summoned and not on the hp or dmg the clones or phantasms deal, so reducing the max number summoned would do the exact opposite of buffing shatter 1, it would nerf it.

    Yes, i want a trade of: keep them so they can deal dmg and pull a little bit aggro away, so you can maybe get the heal casted OR shatter them for fast dmg? You needed to decide, at the moment it is just shatter them, it is the only option, because they turn into clones after attacking once and clones are only useful for shattering.

    Hm, i never afk'ed while playing with summoned phantasms, i mean the groups of enemies are big in pof, often have at least 1 "big guy" in it and your phantasm worked in 1 way like a clone: if the enemie died your phantasm wich focused on that enemie died too, it does not switch targets, afk is something that i think works for necro because the summoned minions from neco stay instead of shatter if enemie dies/ you are out of fight.

    Well yes, why not? Mesmers looked at druid and seen that f1 - f4 got replaced, same for other e-specs, while mesmer always keep the shatter f1 - f4, chrono got f5, but that got merged into the other f skills a while ago, so getting something else for the first time for f1 - f4 would be great. I mean: fighting alongside a "mirror twin" would be great, i would give up on clones and on shatter f1 to get something different than a shatter build.

I know this sounds weird, i left the game a while ago, at the moment as they scrapped the old phantasms and made them one cast then turn into a clone, i tried other classes but had no real fun with them (i only play pve, i am not so much into pvp) and of course i tried to love the "new" mesmer phantasms (they said they scrapped the old ones because they wanted to play us in different ways)...but honestly: i was feeling like i was forced to play a shatter build, need dmg? Build up clones and shatter them, summon your phantasm? See how it misses the target because the ground was a little uneven, congrats you have a clone...what will you do with your clone? Of course shatter them as fast as possible, because they can not really take many hits, die when your target dies (well if you use your axe skill you could maybe "rescue" them from dying) and on their own they do little to no dmg, so shatter them...

    After a while i found myself looking for other games (well no other game really catches my attention, eso is pretty interesting but the lag and the server issues are real there...., so i still look to gw2 from time to time, if they ever introduce more race based outfits (as that would ever happen, cook and wedding attire were to good to be true) i would be back).

     

    NOW they announced the next expansion and even if i read many interesting concepts about possible new E-Specs my only wish is an E-Spec that has the old high hp, high dmg phantasms, i dont care if the mesmer then is not able to use clones anymore, i just want my old phantasms back, reduce the max number to 1 out at a time and 2 if you choosed a trait for it, i dont care what weapon this spec gets...short: this is a please bring back the old system with phantasms, i even gave a cookie to the ppl saying "mesmer to strong", the name of the cookie is "no clones if you use the new e-spec" , as far as i know both mesmer e-specs have downsides : chrono can only shatter if a clone is active and mirage has only 1 dodge, so the new e-spec gets old phantasms but cant summon clones, hmmm, did any other class get an e-spec with downsides? (that is something that i wonder), anyway: what do you think of my boring wish? (as some concepts here are really interesting i think that will never happen, but i really needed to ask after that long time not beeing active...).

I came back after a long break to see if something positive has happened to my favorite class regarding pve, my break was shortly after they took away the old phantasms ( remember they stayed as long as they did not get destroyed / you did not shatter them),i just dont liked the new you need to shatter, shatter, shatter direction, just to find out that chrono can no longer shatter without a clone / phantasm … i honestly was shocked ( and still am shocked) i am a very casual Player and i must say in pof and hot the enemie masses rolled over me even with the old phanatsms at the start of these expansions, in hot i learned to clear conitions with my shatters and used them more often, i also learned to use my phantasms to tank a little bit i never understood that chrono has no "Shield cd trait", yes i know alacritiy was at the start of chrono a big deal, but after several…. lets call it Adjustments i think it should get a Shield cd trait…

     

    So here are my Solutions for the chrono:

    The improved alacrity trait gets as Bonus a Shield cd tait. The Chrono gets togehter with the ability to wear shields ( Shield Proficiency) the ability to use the old phantasms, they stay as long as they dont get shattered, so there will be a need to decide: phantasms that deal dmg OR shatter them toget alacrity? For clones it is easy: shatter them because that is their use, the only downside of them is their low life, they often die before you can shatter them , but if chrono gets phantams they have high enough life to give the chrono a chance to shatter, but the real Question is: do you want to shatter?

     

    I think chrono is the mesmer variant of a tank, so i think this will fit the new: you can not shatter without a clone /phantasm concept ( i still miss the old phantasms that let us think: do i want to shatter, or do i want to have a tank ability thing going on in pve, i slowly get used to "hit, run and shatter all you can" builds, but it is not that fun anymore, i hope they do something about that.

     

    ~~Off Topic: I also heard that Mirage has only one dogde( i think that is just for pvp, in pve it seems not the case or am i wrong?) my soloution for that would be give Mirage 2 dogdes in pvp BUT only make the first dogde the Special dodge, so you need to decide: do i want to wait until the first dogde recharged or do i want to use my normal second dogde to Escape? For pve: PLEASE do NOT touch the dogde ability~~.

     

  5. 1: With new mounts and masterys added to the game, will you make the combat feeling faster and fluid? (Casting attacks while moving, faster Auto attacks for weapons that feel slow)? ~~Make close Combats 3rd Auto attack reduce the cd from the heal, maybe? Some sort of more Risk = more reward? Make conditions less painful, the dmg stays the same but instead of giving us the full dmg in 1-2 seconds stretch the time so that the Overall dmg stays the same but you have more time to react….you know…. cleanse skills and healing skills have sometimes high cds and the hot and pof Monsters hand them out like candy at Halloween.... it is sour not sweet...~~

     

    2: Will you make some more hairstyles / cultural Outfits like wedding attire/ cook? Since the races traveling the Maps they could discover more ways to makeinteresting things....also it seems totally possible for me that there are cultural Dragon champ Outfits, since the races probally dont wear the same armor when they get corupted…

     

    3: Tequatl seems the only Dragon champ that got a miniature that can also swim….do you plan to add miniatures of the older Dragon champs ? (also: why can the festive aurene mini not swim?)… also teqautl and aurene are the only ones that got weapons assigned to them (weapons of the sunless/ weapons of the scion)… can the other Dragon Champs please also get their own ascended versions (with the same model, but other Colours)?

     

    4: new elite specs? Like wielding 2 torches / shields?

     

    5: is there a possible way in the future ( since we have the mists) that we get the chance to become one of the corupted Champs at will? With caithe that willingy branded through aurene we could also later choose one Dragon? (since aurene did not brand us)… it could affect the way the elite specs work (and maybe the normal specs?)

     

    6: Is Joko really dead…? Like dead and rotten? He was such an interesting character… i still hope we can see him again?(mists?)...

    Hrm, i dont want that crazy king to die for real, he is undead but maybe aurene eats him and while he is in her stomach he gets his evil personality cleaned by some sort of magic gastric acid and in one of the next story chapters she burps up and spits him out, we then think oh no now we are all fu... up, but surprise he is sorry for what he did and joins us...but still has this crazy personality (but in a good way)......

     

    I mean we miss a lot of his backstory and what would better than him explaining it himself? We would get some really interesting and crazy dialogues...

     

    I mean i could not play the story because of bugs / glitches but when this is for real and he is really gone then the story telling this time is really underwhelming....

    nothing against a good plottwist, i mean that we needed to kill trahearne to finally kill mordremoth was a bitter but interesting plottwist....

     

    and i simply dont want a totally dead joko, i liked his style (and the backpack)....so him as an future surprise crazy allie would be amazing....

I never saw the projectile from mesmer following a target for a long time, it dont hit when the range is bigger and the enemie steps more than 2 or 4 steps away from the location you shoot at...yes it bounces from target to target but when you miss the first hit then it missed....so i want it to be a more viable ranged weapon, because why having a 1200 range when it is just usefull in mid or close range combat? That is the reason i said faster projectiles and lower cast time but lesser dmg, ijust want to land a hit, currently i am using mostly gs because when you come to an pve fight and the enemie is already half dead you can be sure: gs gets a hit, staff not...

     

    Talking about the meteor from ele......well it hits hard you are right, but it is no auto attack and has a cooldown...and i am sure some other classes have hard hitting skills too, given that logic no class should be able to swap their weapons, ok when you see it that way than they should change it so that no class should be able to swap their weapons, so they too need to decide if they want to be strong at range OR melee, not both so they have the same weakness as ele or engi....and again my suggestions are mostly for PVE, never saw these little raptors from maguuma? i am pretty sure there are plenty of ele and engi players out there that wished to swap to a close range weapon to fight them...but then there are some monsters that you dont want to fight in close range...but changing the weapon from your bag while you are "in fight" is impossible...(and that is good, swapping weapons from the bag while in fight would be truly op)....

     

    And again compare ele and thief both are some sort of glass cannon, but while thief can swap their ranged one shot wepon for a deadly close range weapon, ele and engi players can not do that....and yes i know no class should be able to oneshot in pvp / wvw...but again the dmg is good for pve....and that is the biggest problem:

     

    **good for pve means bad for pvp / wvw....and good for pvp / wvw means bad for pve....**

     

    _so when you have such big problems with giving ele and engi a weapon swap in pvp / wvw....maybe you are ok with giving them a weapon swap JUST for PVE???_

     

    My suggestion for a faster attack speed and lower dmg so that the dmg output is the same is mostly for ranged weapons and guard hammer is a close range weapon, also it already has a cast time from 1/2...and as i stated: 1/2 is good so it dont need to be changed....

    Yes, please..also have you ever noticed that one of the sylvari in the loading screen of the grove has a short ponytail? Such a Hairstyle does not exist ingame....

    also i would like to see some sort of flytrap hairstyle.... <3

     

    More Norn tattos / hairstyles, more Charr horns / hairstyles (yes i know they got some new horns, but still more is better),

    long hair for female asura (and other hairstyles fo asura)... <3

     

    and out of the topic: some more cultural based outfits like cook outfit / wedding attire outfit and common clothing outfit, i like how they changed when you wear them with another race.... ;)

    Well, the Balacing ideas are just suggestions and nothing that they need to implement to 100%, also _every other class can swap from range to melee_, your fear that ele can do that too after they get weapon swapping is a bit big, i mean a thief with the deadeye elite can already oneshot, or go into stealth and kill you before you even see what was happening and he can swap weapons too (nothing against thief when they play really good They give me a shock but after i got oneshotted i will laugh because i find their tactical playstyle good .... B)

     

     

    For the reduce caststime for auto-attacks....i dont want to make classes op, i just want that classes that feel slow and cluncky feel more fluid in gameplay...and when that means to make the cast-time faster but balance the dmg out...well then **they can nerf the dmg from the auto-attack** so that _the dmg output with faster cast- time is the same ammount of dmg from the slower cast - time....JUST the animation is faster so that it feels better._ ;)

    (i mean asura run at the same speed as norn, but norn feel more cluncky because the animation is slower and asura feel faster because their animation is faster but in the end the speed is exactly the same....)

     

     

    For faster projectile speed from some auto attack ( for every class): _well comapred to some bow-projectiles most staff projectiles are slow as......_ you know....

    ask a friend (maybe a mesmer) if he could shoot a projectile with his staff and then run with the projectile, it is not much faster than you...an pve- enemie can dogde it easily when it is not in close range (and pvp / wvw ppl will laugh at you when you try to hit them from far away with staff auto attack)......so staff is (even when it is a ranged weapon with 1200 range) basically a close range weapon with a range that it dont need with this projectile speed, every bow can do better...and i dont ask for an increased dmg i just ask for more speed from the projectile for some classes to have the chance to get an hit on an enemie that is far away, calculating where this enemie might go next is not what a ranged weapon should be, bow is fine compared to staff....

     

     

    And for one default 1200 range wepon for classes that have no 1200 range weapon by default: not every player wants to play an elite (and use a build slot) just for playing with 1200 range so buffing one of their non elite weapons to 1200 range would give (especially new players) us the option to play with every class in any situation without using an elite spec and yes even this request is nothing about an dmg upgrade...it is more a quality of life upgrade....

     

     

    I dont want to "balance around skill" i know i am bad in wvw / pvp and that will never change unless i try and get more practice with it, i also dont want an increased dmg for these changes, i know that would be a bad thing, i hope with this text i made it clearer...but seriously every other class can go from range to melee and kill you with that why should the poor ele and engi players dont have that for their surviability just because you see yourself dying from their weapon swap ability? In the end they need to be good at it or they will also die from your hands.... ;)

    Jupp, i play mesmer for 3 years now and it is my only class, but i can say that **for new players mesmer is hard...very hard**...and i am still not good in pvp / wvw because i dont play it really often, you could say i am not a very good player then, but it is the class that i like, i also like to stick with one character so i dont have any other character that has the same map completition / story as my mesmer, but when i see such a poll i know the Devs will nerf mesmer and for newbies is it then impossible to begin with mesmer and i will loose my only character with a full map / mostly played story _and since there is no class change_.......so yeah......**i dont want more nerfing for pve**.....

     

    Mesmer is **not OP in pve...in pvp / wvw...well IT IS OP**..... so i voted mesmer seeing the fact that for wvw / pvp it is op and it needs nerfs...**BUT just for pvp / wvw...**

    nerfing the mesmer any further in pve would ruin it for that sort of gameplay, but i find other classes need buffs....everyone crying for nerfing the mesmer, but when everyone cries everytime just for nerfing a class then someday no class will be good.....

     

    simply because the fun meachanics are also the mechanics that break wvw / pvp......so it needs nerfs for pvp / wvw but not for pve ( against some enemies in HoT / PoF i go into downstate when i am alone,but overall forpve it is balanced,when you see the fact that not every newbie starts with the best armor / sigils / runes / weapons / gold).

     

    So yes you got me...i just have a mesmer with full map / most story since i love to stick with one character, i have one or 2 other classes through the booster from the expansion on lvl 80, but they barely have any map completition......my biggest fear is that mesmer get more nerfs for pve, for wvw / pvp it is totally fine to get some nerfing,

    **maybe then ppl stop swapping to mesmer just for pvp / wvw and play the classes for pvp / wvw they use for pve...........** :/

  11. Oh, YES i voted mesmer, but NOT because it is overpowered...i voted it because i think it is the only really good balanced class....

     

    And to all PPL who cry for "NERF MESMER" you are mostly pvp players i think....so let me tell you: i play mesmer for 3 years and it is the only class i have done the story and the map completition....and it was NOT EASY.... not a piece of cake...i played thief and ranger and i can say: in EARLY gameplay these classes are BETTER than mesmer...mesmer gets just OP when you can get your hands on the weapons, armor, sigils and runes...for NEW Players Mesmer is one of the most complicated classes and giving this class another nerf is not an option for new players...for veteran players that have the gear, (or the gold for good gear), it is easy to say that this class is op.... they can farm the gear for mesmer with another class and level the mesmer with tomes....and then they practice in wvw / pvp to see that this class needs some skill to play.....currently EVERY class needs skill....and i can say: i am mostly play pve it is not really easy because there are many elite / champion enemies in the newer maps and in wvw / pvp? well because i dont really play it i get oneshotted easily, because i dont have learned the skill that most pvp / wvw mesmers have....

     

    BUT: before you cry NERF Mesmer to the ground so new players who accidently pick mesmer as their first character will leave the game because it is too difficult for them..... i say NO: BUFF other classes so they can be on the same level of "OP" as mesmer is....or NERF mesmer JUST FOR PVP / WVW....but not for pve......

     

    **also i would suggest to buff**:

     

    -(for all classes) most auto attacks that have a cast time from 3/4 or higher - make the cast time lower, 1/2 is enough for a fluid gameplay, the cooldowns on the other skills can stay the same and faster projectile speed, i mean a projectile wich is so slow that an pve enemie can easily dogde and you can nearly run as fast as the projectile??? <3

     

    - give classes that have no weapon swap a weapon swap ( i mean ele and engi, it is totally outdated that they can not do that, they always have to choose if the equip a close range weapon, a mid range wepon or a range weapon....a weapon swap is good for more builds and more surviability).... <3

     

    - give classes that have no weapons (by default) with 1200 range...well buff some of their weapons to 1200 range, i mean not everyone want to play an elite just for the option to get an 1200 range weapon.... players without expansions should be able to choose whatever class they want and then play with an 1200 range weapon..... <3

     

    ok now for mesmer chronomancer: i wonder why the shield has no -20% CD reduction trait, every other weapon (exept pistol, but for pistol we could still get an elite spec so it is ok) has an -20% CD reduction trait and dont say: it is because of continuum split.....this thing has a recharge time (CD) from 105 seconds....that is not nearly enough for saying that shield needs no "CD Reduction Trait", i hope they add it somewhere in the future (i dont want a lower CD on the split...it is an op shatter skill so the high CD on CS is ok).... <3

     

    also at last for this long text: have you seen this poll in the general thread? Seems that most ppl like other classes and when you say mesmer is op, well then most players play pve with their favorite class and switch just for wvw / pvp to mesmer....so nerfing mesmer any further for pve is unfair to the mesmer mains...or when they decide to nerf it to the ground just because some ppl use the "i swap to mesmer for pvp / wvw and never use it for pve because in pve mesmer is not the best class"...well then i hope they bring an option to change the class ( i know they stated they never will do that)...well anyway here is the link for the "favorite profession thread":

  12. clearly mesmer, it was and is my only profession since 3 years and it is the only character that has the story and map completition....and of course the only one with some maxed crafting professions..... i hope they buff some other classes instead of nerfing the mesmer any further...or just nerf the mesmer for pvp / wvw....not pve... <3

Well i still would find it cool when Joko with his crazy undead brain would bring us into a corner and then just say: surprise this was just a test to see if you are strong enough to face an even greater evil than me, now we are allies and since i helped you back then ( or if you did not choose to take his help another dialogue ) and then we get his funny undead ppl in the citys as npc´s (and maybe some sunspears too, but whatever, i dont really care about sunspears, but i think there might be some players out there that love sunspears too) because he is now our allie...... I dont really wanna kill everybody, i mean:

     

    2 elder dragons (Zhaitan / Mordremoth) : Dead (and i love dragons)

    crazy plant lady (scarlet) : Dead

    a god (Balthazar) : Dead

    1 ally (our marshal trahearne) : Dead (we killed him because he asked us)

     

    Now we have crazy undead king Joko.....and after we killed already someone crazy (scarlet) and someone undead ( zhaitan) i think we deserve an undead, crazy allie like Joko where no one can say what he will do next... i mean we already had the option to accept his help, so why would he now turn totally against us, i still hope and think that this whole "i say we go into war" in the trailer is not against us, it is against an even bigger (unknown) evil and the fight against us is just a test to see if we are strong enough to be allies with him instead of just "cannon fodder" for his army.... i really dont wanna kill him he is one of the coolest npc´s i saw and loved after a long time...

Oh staff is really a good weapon...well except the auto attack...winds of chaos is not in a good spot, but after reading the changes for the trident i hope the staff auto gets the same love: faster projectile speed, lower after cast delay and a faster cast time ( 1/2 would be good, no seriously no auto attack should have a cast time from 3/4 or higher, they are auto attacks and that counts for every class for a faster and fluid gameplay feeling), the dmg need no change, but the projectile speed and cast time should be more like the trident... i mean (just for the auto attack) the trident currently is the better staff...just for underwater....

     

    Also the build shown is (for my taste) really good.

The idea is good... but what i really want are some more outfits that change its looks depending on the race (still waiting for the same effect on some miniatures, gliders, mounts, more race individuality because lets face it most outfits are good for humans)... like cook outfit and wedding attire outfit or the ingame aviable common clothing outfit (in exchange for the tonic)... and maybe the ability to toggle on / off the shoulders /helmet / gloves (for the outfit, like let´s say gloves in the outfit screen are off and the gloves on the normal armor is on so you can see the normal gloves on the outfit (same for helmet / shoulders) and you need to toggle off both when you dont want to see any gloves....

    that would be a plot twist....

     

    I mean come on, he is a really good character and we killed scarlet, ok and we killed trahearne because he wanted to be killed to give mordremoth the final hit and we killed 2 elder dragons (one was a living dead) and we killed a god.....

     

    Sooo 2 dragons, a god, a friend and a crazy sylvari...all dead....

     

    it would be cool to get someone "living dead" on our side instead of just killing every enemie...

    make it that his attacks now are some sort of crazy test to see if we are strong enough to face something even stronger....

     

    oh and the mount is cool.... ;)

  17. I just read: Increased the projectile speed from Siren´s call : 50%.......

    I thought: wow a buff for trident cool, then there must be something for staff too, i read the notes, but no changes for staff auto-attack....

     

    I mean, tridents siren´s call has a cast-time from 1/2, it bounces 3 times, so it is something like the staff projectiles and overall i found the projectile speed from trident already better than staff (now it is good)...

     

    Staffs winds of chaos however has a cast-time from 3/4, it bounces too, but just 2 times and the projectile speed is a joke...i never wished for something else, than that they change the projectile speed and the cast-time from the staff auto-attack to something like the trident....a cast-time from 1/2 and faster projectiles....

     

    also note that trident gives always bleeding what i find really good and staff can give bleeding OR burning OR torment wich makes it harder to stack condis, also with the lower projectile speed and longer cast-time...well i wish i could use the trident just for the auto-attack on land...JUST for the auto-attack, ok it would be easier to make some little changes to staff, but i begin to think that that will never happen....

Well...i think he maybe talks about the ascended wvw weapons....when i look at the cost...it is the exact same ammount of gold / tickets, so if you buy a two handed you are fully equiped, but when you buy a one handed weapon...well then you have some slots free...or you pay 10 gold (tickets, etc....)so you need the double ammount of gold, etc to get both hands equipped.....i never thought about the price though...i farm the things i need...but because of that i focus on getting the two handed weapons first....

  19. Oh....after my idea with pve cultural armor...what if...well what if they give the dragon champs legendary recipe drops (and the material drops for these recipes)....

    I mean, tequatl is the most rewarding dragon (well actually i never got one ascended drop....but the chance is there...), also i wonder why just tequatl has an own miniature and weapon set, jormags claw and the shatterer have no own unique weapon drops and miniatures....(ok shadow of the dragon is an story boss, but i think it too deserves a miniature, it IS a champion), but back to the thema: why we could not have legendary dragon armor? i mean come on, they are dragons...and it would take time to get the armor, since you only can get the rewards once a day.... :o

Really just one Glyph for 3 gathering tools?...well but when i read the blog i think i know the reason why: we have 4 glyphs that we can get from the black lion chests (or from other players) and i can understand that, GW2 offers many things for free and you dont need to pay monthly to play, but they need to pay employees...so they need a way to make money i totally understand that.

     

    BUT: there are 3 glyphs that we just can get when we buy the tools that have the accountbound glyphs attached to them.....and 2 of them have just 1 tool, so when we want 3 accountbound glyphs for each tool we NEED to buy 3 times the same tool...these tools are the watchwork mining pick and the lucky dog harvesting tool.....the only one set that have a glyph attached to it where you dont need to buy the same tool 3 times is the unbound magic gathering tools....now i wish the lucky dog and the watchwork would have a set (wel i WISH every tool had a matching set...looks at frost wasp logging tool), so that i dont need to buy the same tool 3 times to get 4 glyphs.....well i would never buy the same tool more than one time, so i will never get 3 glyphs....well...or i will get the glyphs when they add some set-matching tools....i love sets... <3

     

    I mean i really love the new shifting sand mining pick, but i will not buy it...i love to have sets.....and this is just a pick, no sickle for herbs? no axe for wood?... so i dont buy it....(but i still love the design and hope they bring a sickle and an axe for this tools too....

    So Anet please design set-tools to gathering tools that not have a set already... <3
