If the "solution" is "don't play in 800x600 - i don't, i play in 1440p which is why i asked you how do i fit a Norn or a Charr in that window and preview greatswords and staffs fully. > > Also, what are the characters on the screenshot, are they human or norn? uhmm so you're just going to ignore the whole zoom part?

Not only you know more about the game and its mechanics (well, at least you should), but also you're getting new tools at your disposal with expansions. Suddenly reverting to the initial difficulty despite all of that doesn't make sense to me. So why do you think it should always start like that? > > > > because not everyone started out playing 8 years ago, some ppl play when EoD launches, that's why. > > It's irrelevant, you didn't need to start playing 8 years ago, you still should go through the available content/expantions. If you skip riiight into the latest parts of the game before completing previous ones then... you know, it's your choice and *it's on you*. Right? > wrong, you can't expect any new player to just buy all of the expansions in order to play the new one. you should not have to go trough all of it, you should be able to go straight to EoD without any previous experience. i only liked playing WoW when legions was released, they still made it friendly for new players regardless and Anet should do the same.

  4. the start should always be core easiness, the rest should be PoF or easier. (without the frikin annoying over aggro enemies)
  5. i am actually hoping for an extreme rise in price so when i log in i can get about 10G per MC, that would be great.

The game has done a pretty poor job of worldbuilding beyond the current events, and that's a double edged sword. Some kind of insectoid race could be nice I guess. > look it up, i already posted a race idea with reverences.

  10. looking at the votes i do see a pattern, ppl are boring at thinking of something new. it's always ether what already exists or what just doesn't work, nothing actually new and valid.
  11. an option to remove armor (like in the make-over shop) would fix this, able to zoom a bit further out could be a small change that helps tons.

For example if you have unlocked all staff skills on an elementarist, then you delete it and create a new one (elementalist again), you will have staff skills unlocked, but not the other weapons. This would help learning the skills the first time you use them. it isn't just the weapon skills, if the NPE is removed all limits should be removed, allowing you to play a new character without being limited like a baby does it's steps.

  14. daggers should actually be on the back part of your belt, it's kinda weird that they are on the side when daggers are made to be a hidden weapon.
