A little bit about myself, I suppose, would be helpful. I am a 32 year old gamer from Denver, Colorado. In my youth, I group on the likes of Bahamut Lagoon, Lufia, Contra, and the original (and really the game that jump started my love of gaming) Legend of Zelda. The original Guild Wars was my first MMO, where I played for about seven years before moving over to Guild Wars 2 at beta. Since then, I've met a lot of great people, had a lot of good friends move on from the game, looted a lot of monsters, and cursed at plenty of jumping puzzles. For the past year or so, I have largely played alone, doing Arah solos and wandering the open world aimlessly. It took a while for me to move on from my old, broken guilds. Now, though, I want to come back to being part of a community. On the non-digital side of things, I manage analytics in the telecom industry, moonlight as an Ultimate Frisbee coach, and occasionally do private lessons for public speaking.

Here is what you can expect from me as a person and a player:

A veteran of the Guild Wars 2 universe with about 14k hours of playtime

Someone who doesn't take himself too seriously

Working mic and access to any VoIP

Lots of experience speed running dungeons (a throwback, I know) and moderate experience with T4 Fractals

Someone who genuinely loves helping people achieve their goals

Sarcasm & Snark

What I am looking for in a guild:

A healthy, active player base

A guild that plays together often

A group of people that respects each other

The Kalla idle conversation now refers to my female revenant as a male: "Do me proud, brother!" Not sure what triggered the change.

This is still an issue. Thought it would be a good time to bring it back to the forefront with the new novelty slots.

For the last couple of patches, the animation for Charr on the Bench of the Final Judge has been choppy and now clips, which is definitely different than release.

I also can't replicate the effect.

The concept of mount skins is a great one. Having to rely on a lottery ticket for the one you want is an issue. There are many folks out there, myself included, who are fine spending gems on cosmetics, but it's tough to want to spend gold or real money on just a chance.
