I know a player is more of a factor than class, but I'm just curious which classes have a edge above the rest. For instance based on skills and play style alone which classes have a "easier" time than others. I'm looking for a tier list based on the dps aspect and carry potential, not support/healing etc.

Guardian are always welcome. Can be support, frontline, or even roam. Be guardian then pick and choose what you want to do

Which armor weap stats do you suggest? I can only get easily acquired stats none of the viper/trailblaizer stuff.

Just got a necro to 80 and was wondering if scourge or reaper should be specialized first. I will get both eventually of course but which would help to start with. I mostly do open pve and wvw. Also what type of builds do each use? power? condi? etc. Lastly what is the state of each class of necro, I've heard both ends of the spectrum hearing scourge op, scourge underwhelming, reaper is best etc.

Hi I keep switching between classes because I want to try them all, but I havent progressed too far in the new elite specs besides deadeye. Can someone explain the state of each new spec as I wan't to focus on one instead of spreading my time on 5 characters at once and barely progressing. The classes I plan to use arefirebrand, soulbeast, weaver and deadeye. I just want to know how are the new spec's doing and what changes may need to happen for them to become better/balanced. I play everything so general knowledge on the classes are welcome.

I'm returning on my vanilla ele and doing some HoT HP trains to try the new specs. I will get both specs eventually of course but which should i get first? Like does weaver replace tempest, or are each spec diff for what you wanna do? Thank you

What are you guys rolling to use on your deadeye? I heard from some you can go soldiers for tankiness as you do quite a bit of damage anyways. Thoughts on which stats would be good?

yes.... this is why I'm asking what other options there are.....

I want permafrost dye but it's so expensive..... What are other really bright dyes, I know frostbite green/blue dye is pretty bright but I'm wondering if there is others that I have missed.

Long story short I used a poly-luminescent Undulating Refractor on a trinket to test the aura effect on my warrior I used a lv 80 boost on. But to my surprise I forgot I could not salvage these items so I cannot get my upgrade back. I also purchased a upgrade extractor as I read in the wiki it would even separate the upgrade for soulbound items. But again it did not work. So I am stuck here with the upgrade on a character I did not want and I cannot extract it to resell my poly lum refractor. Is there any way to save it? Or am I out of luck because that was a lot of gold I used :/

I'm a bit confused on how it works because I do not want to waste it. I just equip an item I put it on and I get the effect right? Also on the wiki I read this -

_- When equipping a trinket with this upgrade, it applies the Cat's Shadow effect.

- Equipping an item with this upgrade will make the character glow in black._

So does this mean I get a different effect if I use it on a trinket, or does it give both the cat shadow effect + black aura? Also If I use a black lion salvage kit on the item I put it on, can I get it back to resell? Or will that not work? Thanks

I know it's not too much for fashion wars but what kind of interesting items is there at this price point and lower? I want auras/effects/trails/glows but I'm pretty sure most of that is legendaries/expensive. Please recommend anything and possibly a link to their effects and price :) (no specific criteria)
