Greetings! Most of my time in Guild Wars 2 was spent in Conquest before I left some 5 years ago, and now that I'm back, I'm looking to expand my horizons into other things too. I've not done many strike missions/fractals, never done a raid, but I'm looking to learn. Would also be down to re-learn WvW. A semi-casual Environment would be preferred as I've just recently come back, and I just looking for a good time on top of learning new things. My home server is Sanctum of Rall. But yeah, looking for friends/guildies to run stuff with, who don't mind teaching a returning player content.

Does the "deal more damage to foes that lose a boon" mean only on that skill, or for a set amount of time, or?

Hey there, I'm a returning player. Haven't played in years, just bought path of fire, and I mained thief class for a long time. I'm looking to get back into the game when I get internet on my PC again (about a month away), but I mostly see negativity on the forums, so I'd like to read about the positives of guild wars 2!

What are your favorite aspects of the game? Looking for detail.

Haven't played in years, just getting back into it. Mained thief in the old days, kind of curious about 2h sword mesmer builds now, as my playstyle has changed a tad, and I want to expand as well. Are there any good 2h greatsword mesmer builds that'll do good nowdays? thanks for the help.

Seriously, I was planning on buying it today, since I had money leftover after buying my family gifts, and it was pretty much the only thing I was getting myself. And then lo-and-behold, the code is expired, literally on Christmas? What's up with that?
