If anything the price will rise as PoF empties out further.

Koi Cake is even cheaper.

I discovered the joy that is Firebrand. Group quickness, aegis & stability, with top tier DPS to boot. Now thats heavy support. And the best part is you don't need Vipers gear, you can be perfectly effective in cheapo Carrion or Rampagers.

Keep in mind that the specialization probably won't hit previous DPS potential (as it has heavy support built in), but we do intend for it to go *up* from where it's currently at.

> talking like this is the very reason i lack any faith in the balance teams ability to balance their own kitten game. what kitten heavy support does Scourge bring? do you guys even play your game or do you just live inside of xml files all day? other professions bring heavy DPS and moderate support, whereas now with your "fix" today Scourge now brings mediocre DPS with negligible support and you have the audacity to call it heavy???!!! O.o smh.
Who needs perma alacrity and quickness when you can bring a 2k shield that barely lasts a second?

Diving into a pile of enemies and hacking them up with a giant scythe is way more satisfying than crapping out sand.

Prices on things like mystic coins and t6 mats are mostly consistent with where they were 3 months ago. In the two months before PoF we had::
Shining Blade, the first legendary to use the new crafting system that people actually wanted, sending elder wood and mithril to the moon
Legendary trinket
PVP legendary armor
WVW legendary armor & backpiece
New elite specs to gear up
All filling up a massive demand bubble, once PoF came out with no legendaries, no raids, no fractals, no rare shinies, no.. anything really other than a handful of vanilla zones, much of that demand dissipated. People who speculated on stuff like ectos and mystic coins dumped stock to cut their losses, plus the rewards in the new zones are so poor players aren't making much gold, driving prices down.

Its not as bad as Deadeye.

I'd rather have waypoints and no mounts than mounts and no waypoints.. The mounts aren't even that fast.

It would be nice to add as a summer event to fill in the giant gap between SAB and Halloween.
Winter: Wintersday
Spring: SAB
Summer: Queens Jubilee
Fall: Mad King

I'm standing in Mistlock trying to decide which new map to play in until I realize I'm already tired of them. We went from surviving a zone wide assault, liberating a city and hunting down a dragon to.. delivering barrels of apples and fixing water pumps. Its so disappointing.

Imagine Orr with repeatable hearts. 95% soloable events with a handful of champ mobs sprinkled in. No grand meta events or giant bosses, its all small scale.
-
The new maps feel like giant versions of Orr with easy events and tedious repeatable hearts. Really disappointing. Once you have your mounts and masteries I don't see much of a reason to stay. The maps are too big and too spread out for their own good.

I tried to warn you guys that sand shades would be butchered like Dragonhunter traps. You can't have an immortal pillar crapping out burning and torment when both PVP and WVW are based around stationary capture points. The whole sand shade mechanic never should have left the drawing board, its impossible to balance.
Balance patch should be next Tuesday.
