  1. I soloed all of pof and hot.just gotta pick the right class as not all of thrm are up to the task. I main Reaper in pve so its all a real cakewalk i hadent been in downstate on my necro since HoT released till today actually. And it happened in drizzlewood coast as i didnt know what i was getting into as it was my first time on that map and the mobs are super tanky. But played the last few hours and once again its pretty cakewalk.

    I would say second place would be power renegade. It has tons of sustain as well

  2. This has made me avoid PoF/LWS4/Icebrood maps completely unless I am playing on my tankiest class Reaper cause I know even with 5 second skill delay my Necro wont die. But its not enjoyable at all. So most of the time I just stick to central Tyria, WvW/SPvP and HoT because I never get skill lag in any of those maps.

    I see people saying this is a recent development, but I have had this issue since PoF first launched albeit with far lesser skill lag duration and occurred less often. Now its 100% of the time in those maps I get it.

     

    PoF has been out for 3 years now and its still not fixed...... I wonder if it ever will :anguished:

     

     

  3. I have been running a marauder tempest for awhile now and i wanna try out a condi build.

    I recently saw a video on another forum post here of a weaver getting like 17k burns and was intrigued. Is Tempest capable of this as well?

    On metabattle i noticed there are no weaver build for pve, only Tempest and base Ele. Why is this?

    For example Necromancer summons dont follow you when your mounted. They vanish and reappear when you dismount. Elementalist summons should be the same just if they expire while your mounted then yeah then they should be gone when you dismount.

    Also an annoying thing is if you summon a rockdog using Superior Rune of the Ogre, the rockdog also dies the second you mount up. I believe its like this also for rune of the golemancer.

  5. What if instead of new elite specs they added a whole new class? Or even 3 new classes, one for each armour class light, medium and heavy?

    Wonder if people would enjoy that as much as new elite specs. I know for myself i would prefer elite specs still but just thought i would throw this out there.

    The 3 new classes would still have elite spec of there own, lets say one each and then they could release the second elite specs later in the living world.

  6. I logged in today and figured I would do some zone completions on my Ele. I saw that I only needed 1 poi in lions arch and so I headed there and got the poi and got no reward.

    Thinking that was odd I then went to Kessex Hills and got the 2 pois I needed to finish that zone and again got no reward.

    Bewildered, i then headed to Gendarren Fields to get the 1 poi i needed there and once again, no reward.

     

    What has happened? Do we not get rewards for map zone completions anymore? My Ele is my oldest Toon maybe shes bugged cause I waited so long to start completing zones? I made her near when the game launched.

    I want to continue doing map completion but if i am not getting rewards then there's no point.

    And if i have to come here and ask for my items every time i fin a map that's not good either.

  7. Summoned Elementals: Fixed a bug that caused elementals to be killed prematurely when using certain skills that lock the skill bar.

    Cool.... so why would you leave in the dumb mounting kills your summons bug?

    I assume its a bug because noone could think this would be a good idea.

    With the way it is now you might as well just unbind your mount and play like your in vanilla.....

  8. Yes. I have been trying to make these new glyphs work and they can be pretty decent in open world solo but the issue of being unsummoned when any of these above things occur is annoying.

     

    Imo the one where your summons die when mounting is the worst, as it means if you want to use the glyphs then your not going to be mounting at all if you want to keep your summon stacks up.

     

    This is ok sometimes for me cause i often run through a hot map just killing mobs and harvesting for fun but other than that..... Meh.

     

    I guess this build will be best for base game players who done have mounts.

     

    Pls fix this Anet lol. And also fix this for minionmancer. It only happens on Necro if you mount then dismount too quickly in a short amount of time. It used to happen to soulbeast beast mode as well but they fixed that and never did for necro, so i doubt it will ever be fixed for ele as well.

     

  9. I have been experimenting for awhile now trying out differnet builds for open world easymode (as close to how easy necromancer reaper is) and i settled on this.

    It has a constant regen of 472 (thats including food and rune effects) and with every application of "Might Makes Right" i apply might and i heal for another 128.

    This build applies might pretty much constantly and "For Great Justice" act as a couple small heals as well as granting a ton of might.

    2 stun breaks in "Dolyak Signat" and "Savage Instinct"

    Plenty of condi cleanse in the trait "Brawlers Recovery" and for imobs "Warrior's Sprint"

    If you need break bar damage you can swap out the greatsword for double mace. Mace skill 5 does great break bar damage along with mace skill 3 for a smaller break bar chip.

    You can also opt for "Signet of Stamina" if conditions are the issue and not stuns. For faster endurance regen and a great full condi clear.

     

  10. I Changed Fear of Death to Soul Barbs, Terror to Master of Corruption and chilling darkness to plague sending so i can send the condis i put on myself from corruption skills to the enemy :D

    I didnt pick Insidious Disruption cause my only way of procing it is DS 5.

    @Taratus i do get bonus damage from chill. 15% for the grand minor trait in reaper, but your right i have enough chill already.

    Side note, i currently run a GS/axe+horn Marauder Minionmancer build in pve and wanted to try out something new.

    Also used to run viper reaper way back. Would viper be a better choice over grieving?

     

    And for the elite i could also use flesh golem for good break bar ability if needed.

    i kinda feel though like they need to buff the damage of the weaver/tempest abit seeing how the damage rotations are so much more complex you should be putting out way higher numbers.

    i heard they nerfed the weaver after pof came out? someone said it was doing 50k dps back then now its 35k which is like equal to reaper but reaper is so easy lol.

  13. Hey guys my first toon in this game was Elementalist way back at launch but i havent played it in 3-4 years, mostly been playing soulbeast and reaper.

    i have been having trouble in the pof and hot maps where i have no problem running pure zerk on the other 2 classes if i run zerk on the weaver i only have 11k hp and the damage isnt that amazing either.

    i switched to marauder gear yeasterday and now i dont die so fast but the damage i put out is meh, i was wondering if condi weaver is better than power currently?
