This is how I've always played due to being deaf and I thank you Danikat for posting it. I hate to admit that I am quietly giggling that everyone is experiencing what quite a few of us live with in order to play this game we love. It takes a little time to adjust to slowing down to 'see' what's being/been said, but trust me when I say that it does get easier.

My husband and I often trade via mail and have never had any issues. As others have stated, make sure that there is something wrote in both the title line and body of the mail (EX. Happy Birthday {title}, I hope you like the gift {body} ) as that would show 'thought' behind the send.

My dad used to slap the tv to get it going sometimes, maybe try that ;)

For any in the New Orleans area I can confirm that they have the cards at the Clearview Ave location. They didn't have a clue about what Guild Wars was (lol) but they had about 2 cases of the cards.

After hearing & reading about all the issues everyone is having with this still I am sooo glad I listened to Gaile and waited before even trying. Maybe one day a 'safer' way will be available. (not holding my breath though)

Procreation only requires a "donation" for it to happen and does not affect who one chooses to have as a life mate. That being said, in this chapter I have noticed that it isn't only female couples that we come across as I have stumbled across a few male couples as well ;) As to not spoil anything all I will say is pay attention to NPC chatter and talk to a few :3
