Let the migration begin.

Happens when someone link "Rousing Resilience" in chat.

Crashed 2 times in a row on 2 chars. Both times in WvW/EB

lol they don't even care to respond. Amazing

To quote MJ:
"All I wanna say is that they don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don't really care about us"

It's always been like this more or less. It's the never ending discussion about off hours.
-
Can't say I care either way.

A no siege week could be kind of fun

Yeah this MU is no fun for Dzagonur and WSR.

Yeah EotM was created as being said as somewhere for players to fight while waiting to get into WvW. Although it somewhat backfired instead and became a place for more, lets say casual players and drew players from WvW instead. That's when they came up with the idea to make it less desirable. Went there a few times recently just to see and it seemed to be quite active from time to time though.

It's very needed in WvW atm due to all the boons. It's one of the few aoe counters to it.

A lot of options.
As a necro you want to run power scourge for group play. Reapers aren't really wanted atm. So if you enjoy standing back and bomb, with the occasional push while in shroud, it's a both useful and fun class. Be sure to run power.
Mesmers are bit rare in zergs nowadays. Expect to be asked to do specifik tasks all the time, like providing veil for a push and portal ppl. Useful class and wanted in any zerg due to its rarity. But: since you wont find many in a squad they will trust that you do your job and also be on TS/disc if they are.
I play warrior main in wvw and wouldn't advise to play it in a zerg unless you have some experience with it. At least not in the current state of the class. Otherwise you will find yourself to be a "bubble slave" pretty quick. As such, you will run the risk of popping all your "oh shit" buttons to stay alive, thus missing the battle itself. Can also play support warr if that's your thing.
Thieves and rangers are not wanted in zergs and never will be. You just dont provide anything to your group. Weavers do solid damage but there are better options really. You play it if you love the class.
Revenant is another class that is always wanted. You can go frontline if you don't like the backline hammer play, and also almost give your party permanent resistance. And it's a nice roaming class too with several options on how to play.

Can't say that I care about the alliance system anymore.
The WvW game mode is so unique i many ways, and so much more could have been done with it. More seasons, leagues, the possibilities were endless. And it would have been an attraction to the pve and pvp game modes too if it was being developed in a more progressive manner. But they failed to see that. So we are left with a dead idea that, yeah, probably is already canned.

Absolutely correct. Was what I meant. Wrote a bit too fast there.

Only 2 things left now. Nerf it more, and only make it available around an owned structure.

Also try to get into a helpful guild that does a little of everything. Often helps a lot. LA or Div Reach is good places for that.

It's fun when you are on your warrior or guard and you notice a slight decrease in your health, and you see someone stealth. Like when you get bitten by a mosquito. "Huh....what was that?..oh never mind"
There are many thieves in wvw, but not really many good ones. But when you meet one, they can really mess you up.

Metabattle is what many use. They rarely change builds since it is supposed to provide meta builds. Guilds can have their own recommended versions of builds. And sometimes on community websites/discords you can find other builds too.
But I agree with Hang.4690, if you got a build that work for you, no need to change it. Best is often to use a metabuild as a template and then tweak it and the gear so it works for your play style.

In my opinion:
For large/medium scale fights, stab + aegis is often what you want first. There's a reason you wont find many healing eles anymore, they are just not needed. If you are in an ok group with a FB and a cleansbot Engie or Rev you are pretty much set there. A firebrand who camps Tome of Resolve is pretty much unmatched in this area already.
Could work in smaller roaming groups, or in a second tag group that often lacks support.

3 things need a change and dragon banner is certainly one of them.
* Dragon banners need to either go or to get a serious nerf.
* Rangers rapid fire need to be brought down 50% or so.
* Long range pulls need to be changed completely, it has no place in wvw and is mainly used for trolling. It has no real use.

Currently abandoned my beloved warrior main in anything but pve. It's not fun to play in WvW anymore. Boring to be a bubble slave tbh.
-
They used to be able to tweak the classes better, but has gotten worse and worse. Now it's either nerfed to oblivion or overpowered beyond belief.
-
Would be fun to add PK to certain pve maps.
In old Aion a ganker was visible on the map for a while if Im not mistaken. And ppl could start hunting them. Was fun. Remember the twinks before they nerfed it?
In some asian games I recall that you would loose part of you gear and gold if you get defeated while pk-ing.

Rangers and thieves randomly sniping the stragglers rarely do any impact to a battle.
Unless you do a second tag and actually do coordinated spikes , then you can do some real damage.
10 reasons to remove desert map

It's like when you are too deep into a discussion and can't back out, even if you realize that you are wrong.
They will never admit the failure that Desert BL is. Desert is a shit-map and a lot of people said so right after they launched it. Mostly among the more frequent WvW players. But at that time spending more time and money on redesigning it wasn't an option, and still isn't.
