  1. Hi,

I'd really like to see the ranger long bow not nerfed but changed, and thus for all modes. In open world to stop having to shout "come close !" "pack !", "cac !", In WvW and PvP to stop seeing : "come here you coward !"' (this is for the picture)

The change, applying this function to damage : g() = 1-abs(2*f(d)-1) ; f is the current damage function ; d is distance.

In words : currently damage increases, linearly or not with distance. by applying 1-|2x-1| the function would give lowest damage at start and at end, max damage at half distance

In maths : assume that half distance is half damage (linear as an example)

What do you think about that ? I'd really like to give a try (I have a ranger which I play from time to time now : ^_^ )

note : this could also be applied to greatsword on mesmer (I currently mainly play with my mesmer ^_^)

    regards

You find that funny ? It's definitely not. Wanting to, at least annoy, and enrage children to old people asking nothing.

You find funny annoying others for **your** pleasure ? Well... There is an adjective for your kind and it's highly impolite...

  4. I'm sorry but for me, this is a really bad news for the game and maybe its economy. The more sinks you remove from a MMORPG game, the faster you reach the end. Unless you repeat things like a zombie, for nothing. I really fear a few component prices will scale up insanely while the entire rest will fall into oblivion, giving the final blow to an already really unbalanced highly inflationist economy. I really hope I'm wrong. I really hope.

I was about to say quite the same thing but for the opposite reason. I'm one of the players who **only** use the warclaw for the features you (ANet) are about to remove. If it's slower than going by feet, just remove the warclaw and refund gems to all people who bought skins because Warclaw is becoming this :

    2. ~~2 Your warclaw moves faster in territories you own. ~~

    3. ~~3 Your warclaw gains an extra stamina bar. ~~

    4. **Quite Useless** Battle Maul now finishes enemies who are in a downed state.

    5. **Useless** Unlock a second skill that allows your warclaw to detect enemies.

    6. **Useless** Unlock a third skill that allows your warclaw to pull on gates to damage them.

    7. **Become useless** Unlock a fourth skill that enables you to throw a spear at a mounted player, dismounting you both.

So I join Stephen to say : **just remove warclaw from the game**

Some of them don't even understand English. As many English speaking people don't understand French nor German, German who don't speak Russian, Ukrainian not knowing Polish, Spanish not speaking english too. There isn't enough place to talk about all combinations. That *is* Europe. That, is us.

    3) language filtering on channel options should be activated separately on modes (PvP, WvW, PvE) and advertised enough

    - Facing target for *mantras* seems legitimate

    - If you want to kill *Illusion of life* in competitive mode, just deactivate it instead of nerfing it (that's my thought after having seen Wooden Potatoes playing it in PvP, not everyone can use this skill, other players must also know it, it's powerful but hard to play, while in WvW scourge+firebrand+weaver backline does not need any illusion of life)

    - ok for nerfing *Chaos Storm* but please pretty please do not nerf it more.

    - let chaotic interruption deactivated instead of making it quite to fully useless imho. At least deactivated is clear.

I'm not looking forward these changes, I'll change chaotic interruption in PvE to something else. I'm waiting for wp video to understand more of all changes to happen.

I quite don't play other classes atm.

note about *long range shot*, while playing a beastmaster from time to time, whatever the game, the further the target the higher damage always seemed strange to me :)

  8. In terms of race itself, I think sylvari are the worst, just the same stupid child cloned by the Pale Tree. In terms of exploration/levelling Shiver peaks imho are the worst because you can summarize everything in 2 words : kill svanir. I don't know why people don't like humans, I like the struggling between Centaurs invaded by humans who still fight for their lands again and again and the human who have nowhere else to go. I never felt bored levelling a human or playing personal story. I'm bored after 2h creating levelling a norn. I'm bored 2mn after having created a sylvari because he/she is too dumb (will die and leave a dump corpse ^^)

  9. > We've been listening to your feedback following the previous balance update, and we heard about issues around the mirage's Chaotic Interruption (CI) playstyle in PvP—in particular its lack of counterplay and present dominance. We agree that this is an issue, and that it's creating degenerate play and negatively affecting PvP.

No counter play ? You allow snipers to kill anybody while never being visible or findable. You also allow no counter play finishers. Counter play, lmao as they say.

That said, the trait is obviously a bit weird. A "random" idea for this trait : immobilization + boon corrupt or boon steal (2nd is random, this is chaos after all)

  10. IMHO Anet might get a preliminary taste even before changing the setup. By calling Zenimax team from TESO and ask them what they observed in Cyrodiil. I'm not making an advertisement. I left this game ages ago and will probably stay in GW2. But in terms of mixing languages and more important, cultures, they might know what this has brought to the WvW in their game. Some of this will, IHMO, also apply to GW2 WvW.

    > Alternately (but probably more work), a drop-down list of generic item types. If this were implemented, it should probably stick around between logons or uses. "generic item types" means equipment, crafting materials, etc., just as they exist for packs. But, added to that would be armor boxes, weapon boxes, maybe recipes, etc.

    >

    > I would like to organize my bank so that my Silverwastes stuff is in one tab, my Crystal Oasis stuff in another, etc. Either of the above might help with organization.

I also love this idea, instead of buying "bank slot" we would buy "xxx bank slot", xxx being titles we already have for bags. all kinds being at the same price obviously :)

Many of the comments in the individual threads repeat ones made by the same person in another thread. We very much want to hear your feedback, but have found that a single feedback thread offers the best opportunity for you to share your thoughts and for us to review it in the context of a wider set of feedback.

**No money** for random mounts textures.
