  1. Yessss.

Same goes for the gendered weapon postures. I find it completely unrealistic that my skinny male human can casually run with a greatsword over his shoulder, but my huge buff female norn carries and swings one like she can barely lift it off the ground.

And yeah, the hair-behind-the-ear animation (although it is really well done) when most of my characters have either short or tied back hairstyles is a little silly.

    Wow, found this: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/59213/sigil-swapping-and-legendary-weapons

Why they announced it as a seperate thread (I don't spend much time on the forums or the reddit) and not edited into the patch notes, which I do check regularly, I'll never understand. I love you Anet but sometimes your communication is lacking!

Well, all around happy with this update then. Just hope the new mats have a vendor price (looking at you, auric dust).

  3. I'm excited about this!!

Just hoping that the change will also come with legendary weapon sigil swapping, since the reason they gave for not implementing it with legendary armor was messing with the in-game economy, and now that economy is going to be turned on its head, seems like a good time.

  4. I know the Novelties wardrobe section is something people have been asking for for a long time, and it's great, but has some flaws - for example, things that used to be able to be used at the same time are no longer after being added to the wardrobe. My suggestion would be to not destroy the item being added to the wardrobe, and/or create some kind of vendor or tab where you can recreate physical copies of those items as needed - something like the achievement skin menu (which admittedly is itself an old system rendered pointless by the new wardrobe system) would be good.

There's a thread in general discussion specifically about the Selfless/Friendship potions if anyone would like to brainstorm some more: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/55306/selfless-potion-as-novelty-warning-possibly-for-some

  5. I added my friendship potion to the wardrobe but luckily paused before adding the selfless. I have always used both at the same time with no issue, but I realize now that if I add the selfless potion to the wardrobe I likely won't be able to do that anymore. Seems like a serious oversight and I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to add an option to hide the "add to wardrobe" option in dropdown menus, I would be heartbroken if I accidentally added the selfless potion and were unable to use it as I do currently. It's a pretty unique toy in that it stacks with almost everything as long as you use it first, I'd hate to lose that.

And yeah I'm pretty surprised that they threw it into the same category as other toys, why wouldn't I be able to use my potions separately from How To Dance, Vol. 1, for example?

I don't really understand why adding these things to the wardrobe automatically destroys the item. They should operate like, for example, black lion weapon skins. Then if you don't want to carry the item around you can destroy it if you want at your leisure.

For people who added the selfless potion to wardrobe: Have you tried making a ticket asking to restore the item to your inventory?

  6. Now that greatsword is a viable ranger weapon again (in all game modes even!), I'd really like to see this finally get fixed. Instead it seems to have gotten worse, since switching back to power from condi after the recent changes it seems to happen on every map instance, and I don't even use the skill that often, as opposed to many years ago when I would use Swoop constantly (it was really handy pre-mounts!) and it only happened now and then.

It's not even listed on the Known Issue Tracker, which is hard to believe considering it's a 6-year-old glitch.

Please, please, tell us you're working on a fix. If it came down to changing the animation entirely I wouldn't miss it.

    > I actually considered that, but decided it would be a bit too one-note. We’re actively trying to make our characters more well-rounded and complex. I will say, in my mind, Braham is quietly puzzling out how to spell it during every lull in the Gandara proceedings. “You go disarm the traps, Commander, I’ll cover you.” (now think, Braham, is it “ic”, “ik” or “ick”?) ?

Holy heck I love this so much. Going to be thinking about this when I go back to do the Dexterous and Flexible achievement. So glad Braham's fun again! He's been through a lot, but he's still just a kid.

Do you have a source on this? I made it shortly after it came out (when ecto was about 3x more expensive haha), and was hugely disappointed that it was so much duller than the buff from the fires. Most back items completely hide it in the back, plus my character is... well-endowed, which blocks some of the front effect as well.
