  1. It's pretty ridiculous. I just tried to join the JP today and it put me on an instance with 35s left... like seriously, why even bother putting you in an instance that you obviously can't even complete 1 run of the JP, or even participate on a song in the Bell Choir cause it's the last round and it's already happening so you won't be able to participate. Coding that logic shouldn't take that long and having that in place saves system resources because people don't need to join and leave and rejoin until they get into a good instance, and also saves us from some frustrations...

  2. So I thought this issue was fixed before, regression?

I tried to join the JP, put me in an instance that has less than 2 mins left.... I exit. I rejoin and put's me in an instance that's just a little over 2 mins... so I give up and join the Bell Choir... I end up in an instance that is in the middle of the 5th song and I can't join...

So what's the deal? I remember reading patch notes in 2019 saying that these issues had been addressed... I think it was around Halloween, and yet this past Halloween I had the exact same behavior with the JP...

    It's so annoying

  3. yeah I ran them with my guild. as other CM content we do, you would expect better rewards than doing the normal mode, like fractals for instance. these don't have any additional rewards besides the achievement points for completing 5 of each, which really doesn't make them repeatable content after getting the achievs.

  4. They can be summarized in the following points:

    1. I know 2020 sucks, but did we travel back to 2012-2013 where instanced content had an owner and if they D/C or leave, everyone get's kicked out? And on a similar note, if someone accidentally leaves the instance or dc's they cannot get back in. Also requiring everyone to be in the same instance of EotN to start it is cumbersome, side effect of the way these old type of instanced content works.

    2. The timer at the beginning of each mission, it should not make you wait the remaining time once the 3 tasks are completed.

    3. NPCs get sneezed on them and they instantly die.

    4. Rewards are little to none, especially with CMs. They are not worth the time it takes to complete them, and 0 replayability once you complete all 5 CMs for the achievement.

    5. Escort missions are the worse in every game, and 2020 NPCs still have pathing issues and they backtrack constantly.

    My 2 cents.

  5. So I'm trying to help someone with Skyscale and we are doing the stories needed to unlock it, and getting constant disconnects at exactly the same spot during Descent. 4 times in a row. Recorded a video here:

    https://youtu.be/C85sq67D58s.

Always when we are about to land on the platform.

This is blocking us from completing the story and beginning the Skyscale collection.

  6. This has been bothering me for a while, so it's not a new bug. We know that Epi selects targets close by, but there are instances where it just selects junk. One example is the Aetherblade fractal and the Aquatic. The Aetherblade most of the time wastes a target on one of the aetherblades in the platforms that are invulnerable. No idea why those have higher priority than the mobs on the floor that you are currently fighting. But the cherry on the top is Aquatic. The last boss, it targets... THE CAGES.... I see it over and over, and it's a waste. No idea why cause the cages are not even targetable.

  7. So having Hamstrung and Frailty on a fractal that has a mechanic that you need to spread out constantly or else getting 1 shot is pretty harsh, especially for CM 100. My static, who got DwD on first day and pretty much does it every night in 1-2 tries, struggled on CM100 last night because of these two instabilities, especially the hamstrung. Might want to revisit these combinations.

  8. Yeah I support having in-game mechanisms for these things, using external API/websites sounds cumbersome for some people and a lot don't want to use them, even tho I'm a developer and I love the GW2 API, it's not the best user experience to rely on things outside the game. There could be other cool ways of doing this, like you could have a /kp command and it would ping your proofs and make it visible to your party/squad, problem solved, no fake chatcodes, no external websites, etc. But that would just be me if I was implementing an in-game solution :)

  9. There's a lot of issues with "kill proofs", like having to save all the raid tokens, and the now defunct ESS on fractals (although I deposit all my KP on my guild hall and I kept 100 ESS). A quick fix for this would be to let us ping from the wallet and then let us deposit the raid kps in the wallet as well.

Titles are not 100% trustworthy, people can buy those. You need some kind of proof that you can beat them frequently :)
