Divinity's Reach is number one for me. It just has the most relaxing feeling out of all the major cities to me. Great for kicking back after a day of slaying dragon minions and such. Aside from there I sometimes hang out at Hoelbrak or the Vigil Keep. Hoelbrak cause I like the general "Nordic Viking" theme of the Norn. And the Vigil Keep cause their my order and I like our HQ.

My first run in with Steve this year was during the race. I had just pulled ahead into first, we we're closing in on the finish line with me a full leap ahead of the other 6 or so races. "I'm going to win, I'm going to be first!" I thought. And at that moment Steve comes flying in from the left and with a single buzz of his chainsaw demounts me and leaves me laying face first in the dirt as all 6 other races fly past and leave me in last place. Good old Steve.... ^_^*

If you set your underwater skills to the same as your land skills your mantras won't reset when you enter and exit water/swimming.

Forgal for me. I like to think of my character as being in her mid to late teens, a young and carefree type who's still learning the ways of the world. And Forgal was this old graying warrior who has seen everything and fought countless battles. The old warrior takes this young kid under his wing, teaching her everything he can about battle. And then, in one final stand of glory, he passes the torch to her, giving up his life that she might live to carry on what he taught her the rest of her life. The events of this part of her story forging her from a headstrong kid into a more level headed warrior.
Simple as it might be, I'm a total sucker for this type of story writing. XD
side note: it's been years since I last did these missions and some parts might have been changed a bit in my memory over time ^^;

I'm personally fine either way with the S1 team, as there are points I like and dislike about almost all of them. What I do want, however, is for them to do something with Jhavi Jorasdottir already. I mean she's only the daughter of THE Jora (a number of NPC's say she is), yet spends all her time just sitting around in the vigil keep doing nothing. I was hoping she'd do something in PoF, since her weapons are an axe and a focus (I think only necro could use that combo before, but with PoF Firebrand can now too and it would have made sense for her to be one of the first NPC firebrands we meet, presenting both her and firebrand to players at the same time). But, unless the wiki just hasn't updated (I haven't finished PoF yet), nothing came of it. So, since Braham is failing big time as the Norn character, my vote is to see Jhavi do something finally. But, that's just my opinion.
[POLL] How satisfied are you about the August 30th announcement regarding the future of GW2?

Just posting quick to say I, in a mostly asleep state, miss-read the options and voted wrong. Meant to hit "Very satisfied" but picked Very Dissatisfied" by mistake.
Long short of it:
I like the Norn and their theme, so I'm looking forward to content based on them.
I'm glad to see their most likely finally doing something with Jhavi after 7 years of ignoring her as she collects dust in the Vigil Keep. (I hope they are, anyway.)
And lastly, I'm a multi-MMO player who moves from MMO to MMO in a small select pool (FFXI, FFXIV, GW2, and on rare short cases ESO and WoW) so I'm not burned out on GW2 as much as people who full time it might be.
So over all, I'm pretty hyped. Side note: I didn't really watch their thing live, as I was at work, and have only seen the new LS trailer and read odd facts in other peoples comments. Even so, I'm a simple gamer who doesn't expect to much most of the time.
