If you look better at text you would see double quotes, which could mean that these are not exactly strike missions, but very similar thing to them. I talk about last chapter (or even two) of Ice Broad Saga, which purely consists of going to strike mission portal and do similar things as strike missions. Which i btw found very similar to each other, only visual models of NPC and environment changes, you really have to do same thing. With all of this, i only want to point out, that there can be some peoples who do not like to do that kind of things at all, especially with some "requirements" from other raid members. Same reasons i personally do not do raids, its too much time investment for casual player like me.
  2. This game is a bit controversial, from one side you start with nice "new" way how to do quests (live events/meta events) it's by most part casual but you got satisfaction , after few raids worth of people accomplish some maps meta. On other side, you face KP/LI/whatever requirements to do some daily "quest". I think best bet is to just ignore that game-mode as whole, also i was very disappointed when ALL my personal story consisted of these "strike missions" .
  3. Only came to hear from google search, so poor design so i need to google things, and only after that realize that story ends there, and i need to wait. Wouldn't it bee so nice from devs to let me(and there apparently is ton of others like me) know this more clearly from game itself, so i can save some time :D
  4. Actually i still think Anet loses opportunity here, to make tournaments popular. Yes it could create situations where people will cheat, watching another team and reporting to opponents, and i do not have any suggestions how to work around that. But it probably could be done somehow, and people interest would be raised that way, you watch few tournaments and then you want to participate yourself, more popular they become more people would join. BTW, AFAIK last tournament was yesterday 27.FEB, and after quick google search i could not find any recording of that, i still cant understand if they even try to popularize tournaments, as it looks fail from marketing perspectives.

  6. Ok, 4 mesmers really would make mega visual clutter, but problem is not mesmer, problem is matchmaking.
  7. Yes, totally agree, and if there are 4 mesmers, and each of them have 3 clones, than it's 16 units + 1 random guy, so 17 vs 5 players on your team. I think when you kill clone, mesmer should take damage, and remove that damn last dodge from mirage , it's too op :D
  8. As stable genius, i can only agree! All good, only thing i would like to have that all my traps would heal me, and all burning stacks on enemy would give me some boons. That would be perfect.

That there is people who instead of enjoying playing game, try to "game" algorithm. Why people keep posting about Glicko? I do not care about underlying algorithms, also i do not understand why anybody should. Game instead of bringing competitive joy brings frustration and misunderstandings, that's is problem, not algorithm.
  11. I had same feelings recently after returning to game, and got super solution - don't play sPvP  My live become much better, now i just randomly go for some meta events, and my "game time" becomes shorter and shorter day by day, because there is no real enjoyment to play. So i think in week or two i will quit again, most likely for ever. P.S. Real advice - don't spend your time with something makes you frustrated it just pixels do something useful IRL, this probably is biggest lost potential game ever.
