So you see it but not in combat log. Thank you for the test. On a rev I have too many sources of passive healing to tell when I am blocking without the combat log to tell me what is what.

I can confirm this.
Anet needs to fix this.
I used a rev staff. The staff 3 warding rift gave no defender rune procs. Also attempted the centaur bubble protective solace and that did nothing either.
The combat log showed the blocks but no 5% heals at all. It is broken and not working at all.

Trait is 100% crit when you have fury.
Vengful hammers does not crit with it. Only base crit value.
Impossible odds 2nd strike does not crit with it. Only the 1st hit does.
Is this intended? If so then it is pretty useless.

1. A 1H VER OF BALINDAS GREATSWORD.... a katana would be great......
2. Singular pieces of old sets. Like brahams pants. Just tare apart some old sets and sell some pieces like brhams shoulders.

1. When you need to catch fish for the ghost like children the door to the lake may not open. This can only be fixed by leaving and re entering the story instence.
2. When you must defend the vigil squad the portals do not always spawn. This is solved the same way at problem 1.
Basically dynamic events are not triggering correctly. This is not all the time but happened to me.

The cost was an example... it could be 500 tokens. I just want a actual sense of progression when trying to obtain the item. Not a random gamble. It would still draw people to istan because it could for example be 20 tokens from 1 zone, 20 from another, x amount of karma and gold and then say 100 tokens from istan making you spend most of ur time there to get the item. However its low drop rate at the moment just means you farm the same 2 events over and over till you start to get bored of doing them. I would just like some sense that I am not just spending 20 hours for nothing. Making it take long and be hard is fine. Making me not know if I will ever even get it. Is another story. In comparison even ascended items can be gained by chance from things like teq or through progression in things like fractals.

I would like to hear some opinions about things such as sunspear and sunscythe from the new istan map.
1. Only available from istan
2. Extremely low drop rate just like lightwards battlestaff from HoT
3. Price inflation because of the above
I feel that the item should primarily come from the new map it is released with but not 100%
Implementing things like tokens from dif zones in base tyria, HoT, and PoF would work magic.
Anet wants the game playable in a way that you can play pof with no requirement to buy hot. So just have no items req a mix of hot and pof tokens.
an example would be..
Sunscythe
10 event tokens from Iron Marches
5 event tokens from Mount Maelstrom
30 event tokens from Istan
30,000 karma
20g
This means...
1. Meaningful chance to revisit base tyria zones
2. Majority of the charge for item is from the map its released with. Still focusing on said release.
3. Flexability to switch between different areas to gain said tokens if one area becomes boring from things like replaying the same event over and over
4. 100% chance to get the item. It is not a gamble. You are not gambling your time away trying to get a item that may never drop. You are working toward it like you would a legendary
5. Continue the trend. We have skins from map completion achievements in lws3. We also have skins from wvw reward tracks. We also have skins from legendarys. This would be similar
6. More then just 1 currency sink. People will not just farm 1 event because it gives the highest gold like they do for griffon. They would need to do events that focus on different currency types. Thus diversifying activity's.
7. Let monotonous hours of replaying the same event over and over. Keeping things fresh.
I have thought about such a thing for a long time and over and over anet apears to release things with just one currency sink.
Griffon = gold
Istan items = istan events
lightward weapons = HoT chests
What do you think?

I enjoyed the story but the zone has one issue for me.
Can we start making new weapon skins use multiple maps with the main one being the new map it was released with. Like req tokens you could get from doing events in base tyria, some karma, gold, and tokens from events in the map the said skin comes out with. So we are not just mindlessly farming one area for days on end for stuff like [&CukeAAA=]

Which is now 200-300g because it is only available from istan and has a low drop rate. Its not fun to just sit around farming the same event over and over for crates. Give us some variety so we get to go to a few different zones. Also making it cost tokens from multiple zones, gold, and karma..... and being purchasable not a endlessly random drop would make it feel not so much like gambling ur time away farming but instead working toward a goal much like legendary weapons are like. Of course the majority % of the tokens you need would be from events from the new map released along side said skins or gear. The skins need not be legendary but just the fact you get to go to multiple zones and have a 100% chance not some low drop chance... would make getting these skins much more fun and populate other zones that are normally quite empty.

Can you not just remove the message all together? Make it invisible? We really don't even need it. It saving silently is fine. People will notice when there surprised and there stuff is saved...... They will know when they need to know...

YES! Ban this shit. The whole fact that it is readily available to all ages playing the game, has a random outcome, and MAY cost real money is something that should not exist. If they want to make it so you can only buy loot boxes with currency gained ingame that can not be gained by converting gems into it ( like gold ) then I see no problem. You can't pick and choose with this kind of issue or you create allot of loopholes and company's will always cheat the rules. The fact is that you are able to get loot boxes with real life money even if that's not the only way is gambling. This needs to be clearly banned across all games, its a damn plague. In gw2 it is mainly cosmetic and gives no real pay to win element however as I said you either do it right across the board or not at all. Any flinching in such laws would just create loopholes. Company's can sell items for 100% chance of receiving what you bought with no random factor or not at all. It they want to have loot boxes then have them require ingame tokens that there is no way to gain from converting or using real life money. They can still make fine profit. The fact is that most people spend $15+ a month on cash shop stuff when it really could just be a subscription based game. The current crowd of gamer's is too focused on FTP and the result is spending more money per month on cash shops then you would on a subscription. Now we have a issue where we spend money with no guarantee we even get what we want. At least with subscriptions you knew what you got. Now we just get to gamble and hope we get it.... Why even try and support it? The biggest issue is allot of governments don't actually take it that seriously because most people 40+ which are the people that generally gold high ranking positions... don't play many video games if any. ( MOST.. not all )

IT IS EASY IF YOU REALIZE THE MECHANIC
The heal only heals if you are at any point within 400 range when he is pulling you into him.
He pulls after his leap/stomp thing each time.
When you see blue circle for him being about to jump/stomp run out. He pull start pulling you in. Keep running out. As long as you do not get within about 400 range you are OK and his healing is zero or very minimal.
Did this as spellbreaker spamming nothing but dagger 1. That is how easy it is.
You just have to watch the first couple times he heals and realize what is actually happening. Why there is a pull mechanic and not something else. That this means range much be part of the healing mechanic.

It is easy. He only heals if you get close during the bit where he pulls you in. When he does the jump... after that he does the bit where he pulls you and steals hp... When he does the jump start running out. Keep running as he is pulling you in. As long as you stat about 400 range away for the duration of the pull.... the healing it gets is minimal.
Just stop sitting on him during the bit where he drags you to him and its extremely easy. Did it on a spellbreaker just using the dagger 1 and nothing else.

They have made things on the store that are skins and not armor weight specific before so why can they not do it with this? Many of the head items are this 4th weight of armor.

The meta.....
There are great meta with cash from the loot but many don't do them yet because we have no timers to know when they pop.
Things like the rock in riverlands and the foundry in vabbi have great chances for loot and gold however with no timers we are not getting the drop and influx we get for HoT meta since people know when to actually show up.

NO balance will go out the window if that was done. It is supposed to just give the same freedom HoT people have by bringing the glider into PoF. You do not need HoT to play PoF however the glider does give certain advantages even if its not required. Just as the griffin gives the same advantages but is not required.

I do not agree with limiting wvw. I do however agree with expanding other game types to give the same availability that wvw offers.

There are meta.
Meta are not by nature required to be zone wide like in AB with the golden city.
The Hirathi Highland event that depending on the time chains into the legendary boss is a meta but does not pull the whole zone into it.
The meta should be a chained event that has a large inpact on a area in the zone.
The meta should have a trackable info window that apears on the right.
Pof examples of events...
The "rock" in the riverlands with flameseeker tablets
The forged foundry in vabbi with the 2 legendary mobs at the bottom.
These work the same as the Hirathi Highlands centaur meta.
Still meta just not like how HoT was with there meta that forced the whole zone to change and not just a section.

Dungeons you just get dungeon tokens and though you can get vanilla legendary parts with them... it is mainly just exotics and no ascended.
This puts it at a less desirable point then things like fractals that can give ascended and are shorter.
This is simple so far but here is where it becomes a problem....
WVW reward tracks... You can get everything from wvw.
Dungeon stuff.
Ascended gear equal to that in fractals.
You can even get map completion achievement skins.
The problem is that you can get everything from wvw and really...... with boosters...... in many cases it is faster. Especially things like Map Mastery Achievements for the lws3 skins or dungeon loot. This is because of reward tracks.
This reduces the amount that will actually do things by map achievements, dungeons, and even fractals since you can get ascended from wvw also.
The other game types do not offer ALL of this and only certain parts instead.
Such as fractals not giving a way to get dungeon loot or map achievements skins.
The only point in wvw that is in a gray zone is the hero point tokens. Seeing as people in wvw that are mainly pvp players should have the ability to get there elite specs.
However why can people in doing mainly pvp gameplay get everything from pve? Giving them the hero point tokens is one thing because they need them. However giving them things that should req achievements in zones from lws3? If people want pve focused things then go play pve.
It is not like dungeon, fractal, or open world event focused people have a reward track to get all the pvp stuff like the backpacks and skins.
WVW and the reward tracks are just far too giving compared to other areas of the game.
Also though not advised and just creates dead weight for a wvw zerg.... you can technically just run around with a zerg mashing 1 and get the reward tracks completed and tons of wvw tokens. As I said... not advised and it is looked down on because you are just dead weight. However the fact you CAN do it means you can in fact get say.... the skin given from the map mastery achievement for ember isle can be gained by just by mashing 1 in wvw. Now compare this to actually doing the achievement for the skin. Do you see the problem?
Most will not if given the choice do 2-5x more work for the same reward. It is a issue of reward vs work that makes other game types like dungeons feel so dead.

Well people love fractals. They are very active and are basically mini dungeons.
Leave the old dungeons as is. They just need some better rewards is all. More gold would be a simple way to go about it. Oh and add the ability to generate ascended gear from the tokens. The problem is that they just give exotic which is cheap to buy now. They need to be able to reward with ascended.

I do want to see GS. This is because the pure dps of rev is lower then other classes are capable of. Rev has utility out the ass from elite specs and healing from core.
Hybrid self sustain is also very high. Rev currently is decent if not very good at all those but lacks the full out dps of other classes. GS would just work well in the sense of what everyone has always been asking for. People just like having a GS. I do feel that weapon is probably the highest probability but the legend really does not matter. They have many choices that are flexible.

Basically anyone either in the mists or the underworld could become a legend as long as they are one. Kalla was pretty random anyway so that shows they are not against going with whatever works for what they want to do. It will probably be a GS though which could more so be any of the dragons or balth. Truthfully it could also be this NEW DRAGON. Unnamed. Since this could be a dead one speaking through the mists.
So a GS dps focused elite spec is most likely. Second is a caster dps focued elite spec. They would choose whatever legend lets them theme the skills in a way that does not conflict or overlap too much with other classes and specs.
