  1. but water is equally not viable it took a 60% healing nerf instead of 2.6k healing you get 1.4k and earth givewsw me prot and I can get that every time I attune to fire, water or air? With antioxin water is not need since core water applcaitons are low. if healing power gets to low since 700 is the new 450. You; get kitten if you are D.D ?1v1 I can go class but 1v2 I need this I can take out two power platinum thieves or any 90 % classes 1v1. Any ele fight is slow now even with scepter unless you are bursting glass on scepter. Like wise why don't i just focus on 1v1 I can play air fire and aracane. lol If my armro is ful marauder the power difference is power 164 = 5 % damage difference in the old system with current. So marauder lightning whip 400-780 damage vs 380-720 damage hmmm stil wet noodle in dagger regardless but loose ssome on condi damage. Playing fire condi weaver is easier if you want to use raw numbers.

    It's still agile has lots of condi clears, prot on demand, vigor to spam. The damage is low after nerf but it makes you feel like you are hitting them hard. Small scale fights I guess. Feels alright with 16.5 kish hp. It lacks pure power burst and condi but i guess I'ts forgiving but stil require non stop rotations fun for you old horses who play ele when it's ntohing but nonstop rotations? I'm sure some one already pose this over the last 8 years more than 5-25 times. Not my builds since this is not guild wars1 and everything is the same in this game sigh. But Ele /Dervish was fun in FA arena.

  3. Any ele builds is still viable you jsut have to mix and match also knowing you will be doing 45% less damage and 65% less on crit burst. You will have at least 35% less healing from healing sigil passive and about 65% less healing from skills.. 1v1 sure you are fine but in 1v2 or 1v3 you will take way way longer to kill opponents if you are using tradition power builds. I was just using fire waver with cele and crusader with 16k hp mow down a reaver 1v1 and a scourage and soulbeast. But It's hard to handle a 2v1 , we are talking about equal sklill level or slightly below. I love roamer vids but most of time you can see a hugh skill level gap or builds vs builds scenario. Or opponent stops chasing and gets burst down by ranger attacks. Scepter ele/weaver is still king as long as you are willing to pick fights and play perma keep away you can overwhelm anyone. Unless its a equally skilled meta users than you are dead.

  4. If you have a team and you all have audio and some people have mics you got it. For god sakes back in 2013-2015 earth d/d ele or fire usally 1v3 while you team consist of 1-2 power rangers that fight off point and sometimes never even stand on point they just harass on side lines. They key is communication. Try playing hotjoin with players without mics or audio communication vs people who have a solid team. Makes a big difference and that's why we used to have solo queues. Team think is the word, a team mate can fill out what you lack. Now I want to see zero communication and everyone play as a staff ele with randoms that have zero knowledge of each other's playstyle... Joys of 2012.

I'ts alright I can sustain up to 4-5 condi players :) But if a power tamps me : Keep in mind you can dodge with Energy sigils like a bunny and keeping 3-4k barreir easily and with 25.5k hp that's a lot hp to mitigate condi. You can even face tank an entire 20+ zerg if it's purly condi Ask t1 green haha :) I've been trolling them all week. If you use arcane you can dodge roll but why even play tough and condi healing lol. You can still play fire cele ele but the damage is kitten outside a 1v1. :) This build allows you stay long enough to give pity burns for team fights or GVG. Yes I am the ele for the last 7.5 years that upsets GVG matches it is eye especially backin 2015 Fire d/d core ele at it best you In SPVP or pve you can get to the equivalent to diamond issue was to fight cele engi in spvp. Hey I touted EZPZ and the abjured back in the day only if they 3v1 spike me they would lose far or mid. Stil coudl last over a minute. Even when they let in Season 1. MEh I mean we need power back regardless or ele's won't have the same fun ahah :) In WVW. Spvp is not the same with limited builds and its more nowadays team rotation and yeah you can't solo. queue gone are those days. Not I suggess just plaly fresh airs for kicks. You will have more fun if its 1v1. You could play tempest with CC life steal its laright 1v1 maybe issues vs power revs.

     

    You have to look at the healing numbers, tought and condi nubmers they yield optimal sustain . 550 healing power is the 250 healing power. 880 is the new 500.

  6. But your real skill is team playing with VT. You guys know each other before this game eh?> That kind team work is the exception factor. Pre nerf 1v1 you are stil hard to beat but again its the magic of team play :) That is what makes VT special and great positioning. I keep telling the causl wvws with cookie cutter builds not to jump out to fight you guys.... they become dead extras in the video. I am sure you got me more than a dozen times in your team vids after you guys left BP.. But before that I remember we used to have fun and play together haha ;) Cheers and keep up the great vids.. they are priceless finds nowadays.

  7. You can play air tempest D/F with CC life steal and whip around that little tornado but you need team mates or if you are only 1v1 atmost 1v2 only. Or you wil die. Good pairling like a REV and Burn Guard can chew up most power eles. Damn 2v1. Let alone 3v1 or 4v1. It was always fun back in 2015-2016 ypu can play glass D.D and stil have a great time.

    With the smothering aura and diamond skin dance over the condi trash meta. You rotate tireless while bashing condi damage on trash wvw meta players. The joys of dancing over a zerg of 20+ condi players. Watch out for havoc or zerg cc you get exploded with toxic death faster than you can avoid baby goats. Or if you get power burst whiel fight 2-3 plus condi sources. With out arcane tree your dodge are mainly to replensh the joys of barrier to prevent hp chipping. You have fun when in 1v1 while you can easily out play most people they can easily out walk you from battle. Yes they will walk slowly away, cursing at eles mild immunity and demand anet to nerf us further. A last stab in wvw with sadly what we have left.

Keep up the feed back and remember to post on the wvw balance change forum to let them know the made a tad wee mistake with those darn coefficient numbers to all classes the base power, healing and 300 seconds cd on stun breaks maybe a tad over kill. If they don't want us to use it tell them to give us new traitline or skill. Ele was base on jack of all trades and if the nerf us on all trades than we nothing? We can play self condi clearer with no damage? Anet has redefined ele as the wvw kick me sign or zerg bait. Tasty loot, you either died right away or you can bunker and die after. Tempest no damage trash suport tank ( death by well place condi) or fire/earth condi weaver you can kind use 2 conditions and limit to poor and mitigate conditions. Both are poor builds have no pressure on enemies your skill level or 1-2 tiers below. Unless they are pve karma trains, back lines or soft core players, you will be hooped.

  10. Myabe they forgot in WvW we use pve armor and runes not SPVP and it's not a5v5 ring match. I doubt they gave it thought. In the past they made beta test servers and we had a "go with it" for any major wvw changes. I guess those guys who planned that via HOT don't work here anymore. I guess the skill balance team guys were mostly laid off and they are now taking in testers request. So this was done with no research outside of the 5v5 facotr in spvp. Nice gg. There was reason that wvw was split from spvp. And that very small changes were made. tiny percentage changes in skill damages rather than massive coefficient nerfs. If you nerf raw skill damage percentage the community would complain right way, but you guys are sneaky. Also most of the core players quit already and you picking on players that were not here from the start sigh gg.

     

     

  11. even on other class like warrior it got gutted every cc hjammer skils even if glass will hit only 10 damage ponts instead of like 2 or 3k the game is so dumb now. You can CC condi healing tanks you die 10-20 seconds. Warrior axe skills do 55% less damage to 65% less to no 10 damage only. This nerf was just stupid like Air CC does only 10 damage on staff. 10 damage and a soft stun is nothing. Lightning rod build is dead. Any cc is dead. This game breaking. If you are on t1 wvw the BG and FA instantly became purely condi zergs. With barrier spams. No melee can break a barrier at all for attack that hit only 800 damage or 1.8k as a spike. With protection all damage is negate. Who ever did this need to do a full roll back is this even done by a Anet team or NCsoft just jump in to kill the game.

  12. i think they really didn't think this through and just dump spvp nerfs with wvw on whim base on a narrow field of research from a small source. Guys you need to voice your thoughts across this forum on ele and wvw side. You need to tell all profession that play power builds or hybrids to view their concern. This game was never nerfed this hard ever in 7,5 years A 10% damage nerf on hundred blades made people exploded let alone a 35% to 45% damage nerf on skills and massive base healing reduction ele class more than like 50% decrease. Every profession got hit hard but the masters of none class than dabs in all got the hardest on all category nerfs.

  13. People forget wvw and spvp are not the same thing. Don't mix the math. There is a must robust sustain, equipment weapons stats or defense vs power builds and condi is crazy there. You got to reverse the power nerf in wvw. While in spvp land, you guys tinker all you want anything can be change with little amuiets. It's magical land were you play in a little circles with glitter that last a round an you are done. WvW is a long term gold, time and fruitless long term investment other than defending your server and or friends or alliance members. There are no tiny rings or timers, it's an active environment and if you were worried about the power balance you;d just need to maybe drop the coefficient from 1.3 to 1.2 or 1.1. Any more is crazy. We never had a such a large nerf without a buff over 7.5 years You can't self validate change without even playing it, that is very unconventional. :(

Base healing is nerf to nothing. even with 1200 healing power you have the same results as if you have 300 healing power? with healing signets heal per skill usage and way less then if you attune or apply water skins or splash or buffs. It's like they are trying to kill this game and making an incentive for us to play their new game which is coming. If they are making a new expansion and they had to nerf us for that to work I guess it might be ok. IF there would be some new feature, mechanics or skills sure. However, if it's to dumb down the skill level so we all use condi and rely on only havoc team 5v1 or bigger zerg win mentality, rather than skill and tack. Well :angry:

     

    I mean nothing is really viable in a fight outside of 1v1 you can stall a 1v2 or 1v3 but if they are condi you can walk away slow and die or stand there and fight dying faster doing little to no damage at all. Unless your in a big group and you just want to tag things for wvw credits luke-warm gross ok.

  15. Why? What lead to this massive power and sustain nerf? Condi is already to toxic joke of wvw and spvp. So you want eveyone just to play condi and die from it? Closing doors and leaving a window open was the old policy, I see nothing but a dead end with this release. If your mass nerfing is the bases to repack and sell us a new expansion than that's okay.

     

    JUST TELL US YOU ARE GIVING US A NEW EXPANSION AND HAD TO NERF SOME NUMBERS!!! That's kinda okay then! :)
