You make a good point there. It's been so long since they changed the talent trees that I nearly forgot. But you're right. The talent rework makes it really hard to make a good build for ele. I would like some more defensive and utility options in my fire and air trees.

Actually I've had more success with scepter Weaver and core before the patch. Now I'm back to aura heal bot tempest.

Has anyone ever noticed that Taimi always seems to handle things worse when she has her golem than when she's outside of it?

Season 2: Runs off to prevent her research from being taken over by Phlunt, then gets captured by Inquest.

HoT: Constantly needs protection during the search for Rata Novus.

sacrifices Scruffy and then casually runs through a chalk pit despite her bum leg. (An ASURA bum leg of all legs!)

S3 : Handles everything just fine by herself in the dragon lab without her golem, but not much help vs Balthazar.

PoF : has a golem, does nothing.

S4 : nice job against the Awakened there... Real nice.

I feel like she's earned her place as a main character, but her silly side gets exhausting.

Also, she keeps trying to be a big kid but then gets into trouble every time.

My biggest gripe with crafting are the 1/day mats. It should only take me as long as it takes to farm the mats for an ascended set, not a whole damn month.

If you go full glass canon and no sustain or defensive utilities, then yes it will be to hard. Even then, every boss fight is hard the first time figuring it out.

I for one enjoyed the scruffy 2.0 fight, and the second character I beat him with I did fine.

They brought in the real Palawa Joko to scare her into acting like that.

I was hoping for some advice involving the meta, like if guardians compliment rangers well and such. I've played plenty of solo games and duels but never had a duo partner. If the classes all compliment each other in general, then that's cool. I would like to hear what people are running with in duo teams at least.

Besides the regular communication and jolly cooperation, I never really understood what to look for when pairing up with another person or going for a full 5 man team.

Bunkers, supports, and damage dealers are good, but is there more to it? Who initiates? Which class spec should hold the line? I hope these questions aren't redundant to just having class knowledge, but when I watch 5v5 vids I have a hard time learning a teams order of operations.
