Not had the chance to ban someone for that yet, which is at the same time sad for me because I love my banhammer, but also a good thing because that means that link is good :D

Gunnar's Holdian here, was a bit worried when I first saw we were with german server, but then I saw you are quite a pleasant link to have, many comms, and good communication between us two, so I'm gonna appreciate this new change !

It is still ambiguous, the relink of August is also a upcoming link :) But I saw elsewhere they confirmed that it will be for the relink in 2 weeks

I want to be extra clear that, while countries and languages are related, we will not allow any aggressive or disrespectful comment about the country of origin or culture or players. On the extreme end of the spectrum, racism or xenophobia will get forum posters a temporary or permanent ban.

    >

    > There are no "national servers." All worlds are (and always have been) international. The only distinction ever made is whether _language_ is used as one more component in determining which worlds are matched with which.

    >

    > This change, for at least one linkage period, will remove that distinction.

    >

    > In other words: yes, a German-language world could be linked up with a default-language world. For example, Elona (DE, primary world) could be matched with Aurora (no specific language). This will allow, for example, ANet to shore up Baruch (ES, running lower on pop than others) and without any other ES world to pair with. It will also give them more opportunities to match the lowest pop worlds with a world of appropriate size, rather than what's left among the same-language worlds.

    >

    > ****

    > As I've said elsewhere, this is an obvious experiment to take _before_ Restructuring. If it works, it gives ANet better flexibility in matching Alliances. And if it doesn't work, they can adjust their formulas accordingly. All of this is better to discover now, rather than during Restructuring; people have such high expectations, it's important to take as much of the guesswork out as possible.

Thank you for explaining what I already know  The question was if for next relink, at the end of this month, we can have already like Kodash linked with Gunnar's Hold or is it for even later

Just for extra clarification: for the next relink (28/06/2019), will the national servers be linked with international ones, or not ? I understood that not, but other people that yes, so just to be crystal clear

You don't actually need to be rank 2k for the legendary armor, just for the shinier one :]

    Switzerland isn't in western Europe ? I didn't know we moved :open_mouth:

If anything they'll tug on some heartstrings by having her on death's door until Zojja miraculously recovers and brings the invention of "a certain Snaff Prize Savant" to save the day. Either that, or Taimi turns half-sylvari from abusing blighting pod juice.

I would love seeing a mix between a Sylvari and an Asura, would be funny to see a little walking cabbage

    > I have a question since you guys and gals bring up all these differences between f2p and non f2p core gw2 account. Let's say if you decide to play gw2 on a f2p account and you decide you really really like the game and buy either hot or PoF does your f2p account for core gw2 also get upgraded to the non f2p account with all functions a core gw2 account has? (way back when gw2 was buy to play and doesnt have the restrictions that f2p have.) thanks, really curious about this.

Yes, buying an extension grants you all the thing from that expansion plus all the core non-f2p stuff like unlimited TP, map chat, whispers, etc

    > Personally I believe that the best solution would be that Anet is adding one integrated into the game, what would give them full control on it. It could be adjusted to prevent unfair use, like for example, with the option for the player to share - or not - data to others.

I don't think it would be a good option to hide your damage to the others, because the point of a dps meter is also to know how you perform relatively to the others, not just how much damage you did. In WvW, I play as power Herald or power Weaver, so I should be in the top 10 damage of my squad, that way I know I did my job, but if I only see that I did 320k damage and don't know what the others did because they all hide their data, I won't be able to tell if I did good or not.
