Twist of fate is enough to escape the CC trap. It breaks stun and provide 1 sec of evade + 1.5 second of superspeed, which is enough to keep yourself out of the trap even without the trait. You don't need to use your dodges or anything else.

I loved both season 3 and 4 (only played these) but oh my lord Anet is being deadly serious on the quality they're putting in the game recently. Path of fire was amazing and so is season 4.

Yea... It's the first thing that disturbed me when I started the game, coming from another MMO where the targeting system was working perfectly. So now I try to stick to action combat, but here again it doesn't work on everything very well.
