I've been lucky to be on anvil rock this week, and we have been steamrolling the other two servers for the week. I think the game is kinda in a slump right now though, with most people and commanders waiting on upcoming stuff, but having double wxp this week has been gotten me at least to play much more than usual, and spend many celebration boosters.

That and I'm pretty sure our new mount is a dragon too, at least kinda.
Super looking forward to this though. The Festival of the Four Winds from last year was a lot of fun.

Heroes choice chest seem pretty valuable for the time invested. I might do these once a day later too.
-
I'm kinda a mix of both. I usually only click the f2, and f3 skills on my guardian, since I don't have good mapping for those. Also sometimes I need to click special action key, since I tend to replace it sometimes with autorun.

Oh, that is good to hear. My friend will have time to get the rewards from that too.

I wonder how rare the infusions are. I'm yet to see anyone link them on map chat. I have gotten some rare stuff at least like breathers and the one recipe for backpack.

I saw that too yesterday. First day there was a lot more people, and I hope they will run Orr more again now that the defense events should work. People tend to place groups on LFG for a short time when close to completing challenges, at least. To me Orr was a good goto place between the timed events.

I'm really happy about this event. Figuring out new rotations and metas is a fun challenge.
Also everyone turned into lizards during one of the bosses.
Edit: I recommend using LFG Central Tyria Squads for finding events. Can be tricky to get sometimes, especially on Orr.

Underwater mounts are something we don't have yet. Other than that i can't really think of any new WvW specific mounts for example. It could be fun if there was a mount that could pull/carry siege very slowly, I guess.

Skyscales seem to open up even more areas than the griffons did. They also stay nice and still while taking photograps. I'm interested to know what cool places and areas people have been able to reach already, so that I can try to reach them too.

This one is from me. I always wondered how that Place looked from above.
Try to limit images to one or two for each post, so to not make the posts too tall.

This will get me back playing the game for a long time. I'm also finding some stuff on the old maps i had missed before.

I think the new flying mount should require a lot of work to get. Comparable to griffon.

I for one love jumping puzzles.
* JP are some of the more challenging content in this game, and they break the monotony of fighting really well.
* Most of the JP work as hidden bonuses and secrets (rewards) for people who explore.
* There is a lot of variety and different JP. Ones on mounts have not felt quite as good I agree. Some I enjoy a lot.
* Really nice movement and controls are one of the unique things about GW2 for me. (Using mouse to turn helps a lot I find).
The problem with the story JP was more the changed space physics, than the use of the JP puzzle imo. Though also resetting story back without explanation does not feel too great.

• Battle Standard: Resynced the time at which a banner appears to properly line up with the effect. When planted in the ground, this banner skill now deals damage to foes within a radius of 180. _Foes who are in a downed state are now finished when damaged by Battle Standard._
This sounds very useful for wvw, where there can be a lot of downed players.

The game performance has been always kinda bad during the metas, but this time especially so. I got like 30 fps on the lowest settings.
Other than that i enjoy this map and the story. Having everything be tight and focused felt like a nice contrast to the earlier episodes. Also having the spear weapons felt like a nice addition, and it changed how I normally played the game.
I kinda miss the jumping puzzles and hope to see those return someday.

> Also, I don't think this matters for the snowball, but if you're making one where you need 2 or 3 of the same mini you need to use alt+click+drag to split the stack because you need them in separate spots in the Forge and you can't put the same stack in twice.
Thanks for the advice. I think it turned out nice.

Also I didn't like the new Mini Freezie's Heart, since it kinda looks like pure white on my screen/settings. It was still better than nothing for the annual reward though.

9 because things can always get better. I've enjoyed the new living world episodes and Poi a lot though, and the guild I'm in has still been active too.
-
The only flying minis I have tried are the Mini Spooky Ghost, and the floating dragon people get at the start of the game. More birds is something I will definitely try in the future though.
Also for this Winter's Day I'm considering assembling a Mini Large Snowbal. I'm yet to complete any minis that combine into other minis.

What minis people here like to use?

I think that having tiny Roller Beetles makes them exponentially more cute. Especially so when they are next to the larger beetles.
All of them must have grown a lot to get so big.

Also before the beetle I always had [Mini Chauncey von Snuffles III] following me. He is the fanciest cat, and I like how he is easy to spot thanks to his round shape and dark fur. He also does a nice stretch sometimes.
I've also used various other minis, but the Roller Beetle one gave me the idea to start this thread.

Ah, I must have just missed the sapping on the later attempts.
-
I cut down that sapling with a chopping axe, to make it easier to get trough that final part. I too got stuck on it the first time I tried that race though.

There is a track on kessex hills that gives mount rental so one can get the participation to the event even with a free accout and no beetle I believe.

I understood from the announcement, that the kessex hills track is just a practice track. It gives mount rental and requires doing one drift. I think it is good enough for that.
Old School jumping puzzle!

I think it is nice to see these again. Especially since there have not been many good ones of these since the Living World Season 3.
