Is there anything else to do in WvW besides join zerg?

Are there still those group of 10-20 that group to defend or push an objective where you can get in small engagements that are fun, win or lose?

Or is WvW straight up blob vs blob now?

Better yet is that small scale engagements in EOTM or is it the exact same way?

Lol Blob vs Blob, do all these builds really matter in WvW. They way I see it is whoever gets caught in all the red circles first its gg. When I first played Gw2 it wasn't just zergs running around cap this, run to next location and cap, no action, run to SMC either run them over or get ran over. It was group of 10-20 running around some groups were defending some would push and cap positions, defenders would come help pushing groups or tag if they needed that backup. Actually had smaller groups running supply. Idk wtf this WvW is now. It's just join tag, zerg or die.

Have you guys thought about ever bringing back competitive missions Like Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry?

Been back for a month and yup Meta or Die in this new GW2. Gone are the days where you could have fun building your own unique build and still be viable. You must adapt and run metabattle builds or tweak them a little, other than that it's gg.

I'm on like the 4th line for DH, the whole hero point thing annoyed me, but now I'm just going to work on FB now since that's the meta.

Hey you guys still recruiting. Just got my relentless title, but still a semi-noob and I'm looking for a guild to help me change that. Main is my guard, going to work on maxing out FB, 100% map caused I was always lazy through the years, then hopefully start working on FSP. Like the laidback requirements, as we all have lives, and other guilds I check out don't want you to have one. Thanks

Personally, I'd say guard. Was my first character and still my main. Always picked up in groups when I'm in search of one, never struggled with content from 1-80. Heavy armor is sexy, and abilities are legit. Always liked the Mystic/Paladin warrior feel for games, but that's just me.

Ok so I'm an old vet that recently got back into gw2, dabbled with HoT and just bought PoF. All my times playing I never went for a legendary, and now I want to take on the challenge of making the Flameseeker. I've been trying to find guides, but they are really old and outdated. Anyone know of any updated 2017 guides? Also do I have to have all of my crafting skills maxed, as I don't think I've ever crafted in gw2, but help a noob out. Thank you.

Ok so I'm an old vet getting back into gw2, recently purchased POF and dabbled into HoT. I didn't even max out DH, and I'm really feeling the FB though. But since I don't have any of the specs maxed out anyone know any solo builds/gear I could use to go through content while I go through PoF trying to max FB, since I don't have a guild or group of friends to run content through with? Also Is there a way to save your runes to armor sets like in pvp or do we still have to buy the runes everytime if we want to switch up on runes. Thank you
