  1. **Who we are:**

We are a relatively new guild, looking for active players for all facets of the game. The primary focus is PvE/WvW, however we do dabble into PvP as well. New to the game? We got you! Returning player after a hiatus? We're here to get you up to speed. Veteran player? We welcome you with all your knowledge. Whatever your case is, you'll find a home with us.

**We are most active in the evening, EST time.**

    **What We Offer:**

⦁ **Fractals.** We have several players who regularly run CMs/T4s and are willing to extend our experience to you, and help you go from fractal zero to hero.

⦁ **Raids and Strikes.** We plan on forming a raid group in the near future to allow people to experience end-game PvE content, and down some bosses.

⦁ **Dungeons.** We regularly run dungeons on a rotating basis to experience them all. If you never been into a dungeon, you can and will learn them all.

⦁ **World versus World.** We are located on Darkhaven, and plan on forming a static to go in, have fun, and help players progress with Ascended armor and Legendaries.

⦁ A group of people who are just fun to be around with! =)

    **What We Expect:**

⦁ Rep requirement during guild activities, whether it would be fractals, raids, etc. If you do rep outside these activities, we expect you act accordingly and not give the guild a bad name. Toxicity, verbal abuse in PUGs is strictly forbidden, and will result in actions taken toward the offending party.

⦁ We realize IRL situations arise and you may need to take time away from the game. We understand completely; just be open and transparent, and we will accomodate your needs!

⦁ **Discord is a requirement.** All our events are posted here, as well as up-to-date information regarding guild happenings. You don't need to be active, but at least be kept in the loop of things.

Interested in joining [Eye]? We would love to have you! You can contact the following people down below. If no one is online, feel free to drop one of us a mail, or post here. We will get back to you as soon as possible!

    ⦁ **Aelita.9617 | Shadow Omen.2381 (Guild Leaders)**

    ⦁ **Gomo.6212 (Vice Leader)**

    ⦁ **MorpheusDV.8592 | Melony Songbringer.7810 (Guild Officers)**

    > Hi I'm interested in joining the guild! A little about myself, I am 22 year old from Poland (thats why i kinda have an accent) and I purchased GW2 a few years ago, played off and on, but didn't have anyone to group up with as most of my friends aren't into MMORPG's. I am trying to learn how to be a healer. I don't have a lot of experience with anything in the game apart from open-world pve but I'm willing to learn fractals, raiding, and dungeons. Honestly I'm kinda bad at the game :(. Also, couldn't manage to message you guys i think im doing it wrong.

Are you on NA or EU?

    Also, still actively recruiting!

Hi there, I can definitely reach out to you a little bit later tonight if you're still interested.

Hiya, I run CMs/T4s daily and teach Fractal CMs regularly, but not in guild as of yet. If you want to learn how to do CMs down the line, you should look into us.

    > In what format of PvE are you talking about? Open World? Because almost any build has reasonable ability to work there. Fractals? If your talking about T4 or more accurately T4 CM you have got to be kidding me while you might not get auto kicked I sure don't see anybody requesting DH and in Raids we are passable but we sure aren't winning any awards.

    >

    > And FB is meta for tournament pvp.

    > Again where are you seeing this, we are ridiculously out performed on the support side(which is all we really have for competitive play now) since they nerfed the FB down in the last few patches and even more so since they Buffed up the Scrapper so much.

    >

    > WvW is dominated by firebrands.

    > Ok this at least is reasonable accurate

    >

    > Saying outlandish things about state of guardian doesnt help the profession in the long run

    >

    > Just because a particular build is listed on Metabuild does not in anyway mean it is dominating overall in any way all that is showing you is this is the best build that has been found for this class irrespective of the relative strength or weakness of that particular class against the whole host of other classes and their builds that are out there. This is something that to many players seem to do. I'm still waiting to hear as to how many players that can consistently hold Platinum tier 2 or above while running Guardian (or any of its Elites) consistently and not Duo qued while doing, I'm not saying it can't be done but I am certain that it will be a much smaller percentage than all most all of the other classes by comparison.

    Wat.

Burst is king in fractal CMs and what's what DH excels at. You want bosses to phase as quickly as possible.

I usually play Healbrand in CMs and T4s nowadays but when I do go DH I can usually pull 28k, on for example, CM99 MAMA. Just because you run with shitty DHs doesnt completely invalidate the profession.

    > If you target something then you dont have any sliding at all on movement skills - just like you dont slide after a dodge. You also dont slide if you use your leap without moving before. If you use leaps without a target then you slide around 350, but you can break it and slide at the most 100.

    > The issue, clearly, is that you are smashing your movemvent keys, which slippery slope punishes you for. Which is good, because all that unnecessary movement that gw2 lets you get away with is actually very unskilled gameplay. Old SA was horrible because it punished OTHERS for your wiggly wobbly antsy movements. Slippery slope is good because it now punishes you instead.

    > Without a doubt, the days of seaweed salad are - thank god - over. So stop with the wiggling and you'll see how laughable all your complaints about slippery slope really are.

    Sorry, what?

I don't know what you run, but old SA was never an issue in CMs/T4s. The "punishment" range for old SA was only 44 units, which was more than fine because Chrono wells and whatnot extended WAY past that. Only reason it was hard is because people can't space themselves out properly for a meager unit distance, and just end up blowing themselves up. Try running a CM pug with exp'd people, and you'd see the difference.

Slippery still sucks in many fractals, notably the puzzle part in Deepstone, which is a horrible fractal in general. I'd be perfectly fine if Stab counteracted the instability but that's not even the case, even though you gain increased Stab duration through it.

  7. So what is the issue here apart from a PvP/WvW standpoint?

Granted I only do CMs and T4s now since I don't have time for anything else, even raids, but I'm still overcapped on crit even with taking PI over RI.

Am I just not seeing something from a PvE point of view, or is it just PvP/WvWers complaining on an already broken traitline?

  8. I run CMs+T4s daily. Lately other members of my party and myself, have been running into invisible bosses.

CM100 Arkk seems to be especially bad, but it's happened on other bosses too, such as Mai Trin. Occasionally, the boss will go invisible for some party members (if not all), making it frustrating to killing the boss, depending what fractal you're in. Arkk isn't bad since he doesn't more at all, but bosses like Mai Trin make it frustrating for a melee DPS like myself, and we don't know what causes it. Sometimes a wipe or a /gg will fix it, but it seems real inconsistent as to why it when it happens. My friend who runs an i7-8700k + GTX 1080ti runs into this issue as well. Some others I've done runs with that have lower end systems sporadically have this issue.

    I run on a high-end gaming laptop:

    i7-7700HQ

    16 GB DDR4 @ 2400 MHz

    GTX 1070

Can you find out what causes This? I'm sure my friend and I aren't the only ones here.

  9. Hello!

Due to work circumstances I'm pigeon-holed into playing weekends mainly; very rarely will I log in to play weekdays. Thus, I am looking for a guild that understands real life comes first before a video game.

    About myself:

    * GW1 Veteran circa 2006 and a GW2 Veteran since 2015.

    * I play mainly high-end content such as raids (If I have time), T4 fractals, 99/100 CMs, as well as achievement hunting.

    * I absolutely do not mind helping newer players entering the game and will help out in my free time to ease their transition into GW2.

    What I'm looking for:

    * As I said, a guild that understands real life comes first before a video game.

    * A close-knit guild to where you're not just a number in their ranks.

    * A CST active guild (I live in Chicago), mainly during the afternoons and evenings.

Catch me either in-game or post here if I'd be a great fit in your guild!

    > You can use -maploadinfo to see if it's actually doing anything. Some people have had problems connecting to specific IPs, where the loading screen will get stuck in a waiting state for over a minute, then show a connection error message. If this is happening, first ensure you're not being blocked by any software you may be running. You could try running the game on port 80 or 443 (-clientport 80), but you'll likely need to use a VPN.

    >

    > If the game isn't fully downloaded, you may want to try that first, using -image

    >

    > Note the IP of the instance using -maploadinfo. As an alternative, you can try getting into a different instance by either joining on someone or through chance by guesting to the other popular servers.

Yeah, this is exactly what's happening, with the connection error message. I'm at work but I'll try out your suggestions when I get home. Thanks!

  11. I don't know what the problem is, but whenever I try to zone into The Silverwastes, my internet and/or laptop just refuses to load. The connection to the map will just hang and hang until eventually I repeatedly get DC'd, or the game crashes. This is the only map in which this happens; other zones load in quickly and fine.

    Specs:

    OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 16299) (16299.rs3_release.170928-1534)

    CPU: Intel® Core i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz

    Memory: 16 GB DDR4 @ 2400 MHz

    GPU: Radeon RX 580

    GPU Software Version: 17.1.1

As far as internet goes, I tether my internet through my smart phone, but that shouldn't be the reason because as I said before, other zones have no issues at all. I don't know what to do anymore. I can provide any other info that would be relevant but can anyone try and help me?

    Thanks!
