  1. still zero Mirage nerfs in PvE. I guess Anet really is oblivious to the fact that confusion exists in this game. They see the SC bench of 28k and think the spec is balanced. Pathetic and clueless balance team. No spec should be able to do over 40k DPS on any boss yet Mirage has been this way for over a year.

  2. The "Skyscale of Fear" requires you to "teach the class at Vehtendi Academy" (Glossophobia) but the map is bugged for the event "Protect the Priory explorer while he studies the academy's murals." He just stands in one spot never moving. Been like this for almost 3 hours now. Because of this you cannot get this collection item. Been trying to get enough people in to spawn a new instance but the map is pretty dead in terms of player population

This is on NA IP 18.215.201.146:0

It's not true. I'm Red and half of us have no downstate, the other half does

Well, some "freak outs" are justified such as the lack of Mirage nerfs in PvE. Tell me how waiting for the patch will magically manifest in PvE Mirage nerfs?

Rampant Vex nerf is pretty big since it has no internal cooldown and works on every single strike from Renegade. They also nerfed Searing fissure: 4 stacks for 4 seconds down to 3 stacks for 3 seconds and 3 stacks for 1 second.

The last 2 things you listed are for a grandmaster trait in Invocation that no one ever uses so that is irrelevant.

  6. It's been extremely bad for a couple days now with my ping being "stable" around 500 for about a minute then dropping to just 60 for about 20-30 seconds then back to 500. It's basically making doing WvW and Raids unplayable. I'm in the Northeast btw

Of course they don't. Launch Buddy encrypting your credentials was a huge boon to using it. Now, you either have to do use a bat file that you need to patch/update everytime there's a patch, login manually or just give up. It's ridiculous. Instead of fixing the issue they just remove the feature. It's lazy and an absolutely poor decision.

  8. 100% agree. This singular change by Arena Net is completely ridiculous. Also, their "work around" for storing your username and password still stores it locally in side of Local.dat so it is just as insecure as before only now we have a bunch of added headache with no real benefit. Please restore these arguments or allow us to at least store our data to multiple different accounts!

These options involved storing account credentials in an unsecure way that could result in security and privacy risks. If you wish to expedite access to your game account, you may use the “Remember Account Name” and/or “Remember Password” options in the login window.

Do you have a link to this method? I have only ever used Launch Buddy

  10. The tooltip reads 13% but if you take a naked necro at level 80 you have 1,180 precision (I am using Curses, Blood Magic and Spite with no traits selected) you should get condition damage equal to 153: 1,180 X 13% = 153.4. Instead, you get condition damage equal to 130 which is 1,180 X 11%.

Either this is a display bug or a tooltip bug (should read 11% instead of 13%). If it's a tooltip bug this means target the weak was stealth nerfed at some point. Or, is Target the Weak not taking Furious Demise into account? Is this intended?

EDIT: In case you are curious, the extra 180 precision comes from Furious Demise in the Curses traitline, the same traitline that has Target the Weak so the lowest precision you can get on Necro to see this bug at level 80 is 1,180.

  11. Let me guess you were the soulbeast who got kicked, right? Here's the thing, Raid bosses have enrage timers where if you don't kill them before the time is up you basically wipe because their damage gets massively boosted. Some are more tolerant than others in terms of raw DPS. So, if you have a couple people doing low DPS you will not kill the boss.

For fractals, this is not the case. However, Fractals go 1000 times smoother when people actually are not a dead weight. Someone doing very low DPS can be felt without a DPS meter. It feels like you are 4-manning the fractal. Same goes for a healer not healing or a chrono not putting out boons. They might as well just not be there or be replaced by someone who actually contributes. Condi classes in general are less effective than power because of the nature of fractals. The potential for condi classes is far below that of power classes so, playing a condi class, you are already at a massive disadvantage DPS wise. The one exception is Firebrand because of the high burst that no other condi class has.

I use a DPS meter and never yell at people for having really low DPS but you can 100% tell the difference between someone pulling 5k DPS and someone pulling 15k DPS in a Fractal. Having the meter does not make people toxic. People are toxic because they are toxic. If the meter wasn't there they'd be yelling at the whole group for being bad because they probably wouldn't be able to tell who among the 5 as bad. Long story short, you shouldn't have low DPS in T4 Fractals or Raids (if you are a DPS class) or you are dragging your team down and quite possibly causing the wipe yourself by being bad or you are leeching which is just as bad.

  12. when the new worlds get build every season how would you place a player, like myself, that only plays 1 hour of WvW a day? Will I be placed in a world with other people that only play 1 hour day and against a world that only plays 1 hour a day? Or will there be a balance for each world of people that play 10+ hours a day and people that play very little?

My concern is that I will no longer play WvW if it's the first case. I like jumping on and learning from experienced and dedicated WvW players. I contribute by roaming or being part of a zerg but if there's entire worlds of people who don't play very much there's almost no way to learn, to grow and, at any given time, the game mode would be dead most of the time.
