^Same here I was bugged before the patch, Since the patch I went through both meta events north and south killing branded foes using a scepter and focus (easily a 100+) as well as killing both the storm and sun temporal elementals 2 or 3 times over nothing has changed. I am still stuck at 3/5 for the achievements as before.

Fml Anet needs to revert this, tempest defense was the only source of counter-play eles had against stealth classes (glass thieves and mesmers) - it at least gave you a chance to click a skill to save your kitten rather than get nuked with backstabs and so on. WHY IN THE HELL DID YOU REMOVE IT ANET SERIOUSLY

Agreed, once this MS thing is over eles wont have much to fall back on as Lava font hits like a wet noodle now.

Meteor-shower is working as intended, move along people nothing to see here.

I'd say it's one of the worst patches we've had for ele in a very long time, in a long history of bad/nerf centered patches since 2013.

Nerfing the aoe damage skills across the board - given that weaver/ele hasn't got a much else going for it (certainly not when compared to other classes) makes them fairly pointless now.

Well here's my wish list for fixes:

Bring back: Arcane fury, larger radius Static field, RTL Cool down reduction+accuracy.

Make Fire grab a cone effect so it can reliably hit, could argue the same for Gust on staff air 3 (making it similar to the Mesmer GS 5 skill)

Make Unravel and F5 skill as part of the weaver mechanic - personally finding weaver rather clunky as sometimes you really need to switch completely to an attunement asap i.e. magnetic aura for those pesky pewpews...... Note: giving up a utility slot for unravel I feel is far too costly.
