  1. Since the dawn of eternity, power heralds swore by one cookie cutter build. Today we still have power herald but now renegade and condi herald which are even more viable. The energy changes to shiro and gutting of staff 5 pushed me to try alternatives. I present you the quadruple wielder dwarfgon (name in progress).

    Let me point out what we are loosing first before getting into the pros:

    1 teleport

    1 block

    2 evades

    1 burst (shiro facet goes hard)

     

    Pros:

    3 sources of stability

    4 sources of weakness

    1 barrier

    more range (900-1200)

    2 unblockables

     

    I found this to be decent in 2v2s because stability and weakness lets you be more offensive. Also pretty nice in teamfights since you can CC anyone with 1 stability if you have quickness (from weapon swap). Can be devastating against lich form and full counter. The downside is if you are dueling and get +1 it is harder to escape. If you can keep up good weakness and stab uptime can still stall a fair bit. Since you lack evades and blocks it might be worth swapping one of the traitlines for retribution to get passive endurance bonus and vigor on evade. Rapid flow, roiling mists and forceful persistence are some of the traits that work as well.

     

    An example opener would be to use taunt, inspiring reinforcements, mace 3, axe 4.

     

  2. Since I tried the support role last season i realized that even with menders tempest has good damage output on node so I decided to try a marauder variant.

    Air traits offer great offense and defense with lightning rod. Fresh air is riskier but can increase damage against people that arent paying attention to you.

    Fire has some good damage modifiers and defense with blind and cleanse.

    The biggest weakness is sustain so you have to negate damage in the first place.

    Ether renewal and aftershock are good substitutes as well. Let me know what you think

  3. I tried shatter mes and different chrono builds before but none ever clicked with me. Finally gave mirage a try and increased mobility with the new dodge mechanic made it easier to play. Hope you enjoy

  4. Try to use 600-450 range skills first as you are safer from range. Save surge of the mists for interrupting enemy skills with long cast times. But ultimately one of the key things that separates a good rev from a bad rev is his energy and cooldown management. When you add all the evade frames, glint heal and staff block, it has a relatively high uptime on i-frames. You must cycle through all of them and wait for cooldowns out of line of sight if necessary. Also, if your energy is not 0 - 20 when you are legend swapping, then you are not using rev to its full potential. Overall condi is not prominent in pvp right now so we are in a better spot compared to 2 seasons ago.

    As you could probably guess I played ninja, by far the most fun out of all classes. As to why I quit: bad servers, increasing p2w and overall damage is too high (duels are basically decided when 1 person lands a CC).
