Fortunately, the ending made up for it. No forced last-minute plot twist. We got a complete ending. Kralkatorrik, being the most powerful Elder Dragon, was the most powerful villain in the game, and he died. Any bigger bad they add is going to feel like a retcon (and probably is). Anyway, Aurene’s an Elder Dragon now! *clap*

The Elder Dragons would devour all of the magical energy, and overstuffed, they'd pass out like relatives at a Thanksgiving dinner. Aurene isn't doing the same thing. Also, there are three other elder dragons who are a threat.

Here is the thing I am waiting to see that could make the last 3 elder dragons even more dangerous than Kralk...

    1. They continue with dividing the magic between the last three dragons.

    2. Jormag manipulates the Champions to kill Primodus first and he swoops in and claim the bigger portion of the fire magic released.

    3. And just as Jormag thinks he has the best of everyone, Bubbles comes in, swallows him hole. And we learn that Bubbles is the actual world and magic itself and wants to start all over.

    4. Now we have to learn how to convenience Bubbles who is essentially magic and the world that we deserve to live and that we will learn to live in balance with the world and magic.

There is a difference between winning and watching either a team cream your team within the first 2 - 3 minutes, or suddenly after playing crappy for most of the round, comeback and cream you. There is a difference between in watching a downed character continually getting hit and then watching them miraculously rise again. Or, you have you out number 1 character 3:1 and they kick EVERYONE's tail. I have witnessed all of this.

Don't get me wrong...I am sure I have been teamed up with some VERY poor strategists and tacticians (don't get me started on trying to get people to play Foefire correctly (which is taking out the lord))...But, I can't believe I can be fighting along side group of scrubs.

Not too bad at all. Most of the things are easy to get and if you time yourself right, I can't see why everything can't get done in an hour or two. The toughest part actually, was just remembering were to find some of the targets (like you know you have ran into a lot of a creature in a particular area, but you have not been there so long, you may be hopping the map to find target creature or Googling them). But, overall, it is not as bad as getting the griffon mount. (Yes I am still made at you for that ArenaNet. That and your chef mastery.)

  4. To add. This would be a good reason to add more Skill Point achievements. Kind of like a train your mount type thing. Or even doing things like having weapons and armors to further customize and individualize mounts?

(Sorry first time ever posting to this forum. I did not know how to edit an existing comment or delete and unwanted one.)

  5. Okay, let me get this out of the way...I SUCK at digital dexterity, so when I say this, I do so knowing it would frustrate me to have try it (like those darned timed jumping puzzles). I think it would be nice if new abilities can be added to characters while mounted. I me would it not be nice to be able to blast foes from the back of your raptor (penalty being that one suffers with being able to target foes) or order your griffon to dive bomb an enemy group (penalty being that the griffon has to land while its endurance bar builds back up to allow it to fly) or even have a claw, claw, bite attack with the jackal or hardened wing attack while riding the skimmer (again its other usages being delayed by its endurance).

  6. I know this old, but lets be honest, does it really matter which dragon is next or last? Here is why, given that we learned about the dragons sharing the powers of a downed elder dragon leads me to this idea...

The elder dragons are just avatars of the TRUE source of all magic in the GW2 realm. That like Lazarus, what we are seeing are specialized fragments in order to spread the absorption of magic quicker and better (like the mouth of Zhaitan and Mordremoth). And maybe the ley line anomalies, bloodstone mad Mursaat, loose magic, and maybe even the Eternal Alchemy, are all tied to this TRUE source and because the various life forms of Tyria are leeches and parasites that is actually draining this TRUE source and so it does not get to weak or is killed, it has to survive by ridding itself the the leeches and parasites? That the elder dragons are actually antibodies that are curing and healing the TRUE source?
