It cannot be used in Fractals
-
This thread should be called "whats the bare minimum i have to do?".
Dont know how some people here are happy with pure mediocrity.
I get it, some wanna have fun and turn off their brains, however we're talking about GROUP content.
Cant imagine anybody having fun carrying people who cant perform their roles properly.
Lets be honest: If the easiest mmo (->gw2) on the market is to hard for ya, you're either fucking bad or lazy as hell.
A healthy person (not including disorders which affect visuality or reaction time) must be able to do ez 70% of the benchmark
e.g. DH gs/scepter 33k -> 23k (70%). Investing less than 1h for training rotation at the golem. Done.

Just shows the guild Lucky Noobs who have won the Finals ERP (Elitist Raiding Party). Doesnt mean anybody can wear masterwork gear and hope to kill a boss.
Casuals would wipe a 1000 times before even phasing the boss.

Obviously, there are the places like snowcrows you can see the ceiling, but what if we're just talking ordinary players who can get the job done but aren't setting records. What sort of range would you say you look for in a DPS class in raids, fractals, strikes?

Hey wanna know a secret? I'll tell ya. 5k dps is an auto attack chain on any power build with boons.
Imagine your dps squad just auto attacking, hilarious.
How dense can you be

yeah have the same problem

look man, there are no tutorials in gw2. not for pve, not for pvp, nothing. and there probably never will be.
change your mindset and start learning.
do your research. (metabattle, twitch, youtube)
learn your class. what is your class capable of? damage, cc, conditions, boons, melee/range
learn your skills. cooldowns, cast time/instant, stunbreak, cleanse, aoe
recognize animations. avoid big damage.
you cant dodge everything = learn to use what you have. block, blind, invuln
learn to use fields for your advantage.
learn to rotate. have some map awareness.
do your job. (sup, bunker, roamer, +1)
communicate with your team. (focus? strat?)
learn to kite. every map has obstacles or mini jp. (yes JP!!!)
play matches. practice as much as possible.
ragequit gw2.

Honestly I'm so tired of seeing 4 ranger in almost every game. The sheer amount of debilitating pets and cc this class can drop on the cap is just disgusting and so kitten unfun.
A simple fix without nerfing ranger is limiting 1 class per side per game.
Its either that or greatly increase the skill floor of the class or nerf it.

For the love of God bring back Phalanx, Viper's and Trickster's Armor Skin. Waiting more than half a year now...thats ridiculous
ps. chaos gloves would be nice
Ready Check for Fractals (or any 5-group Content)
in Instanced Group Content

since the introduction of sunqua peak it'd be useful to have the option for ready checks (similiar to raids but without com).
hell its useful in every single fractal, e.g. underground or twilight. theres always a guy who rushes to the first boss while im still loading into the instance. then watching my team wipe
lol
