**Chosen by the Mists [Crow]** is a PvX guild with a small but active community of adults (21+) who enjoy Guild Wars 2 together.

We welcome new players just learning the ropes and experienced veterans who have *been there and done that*. There is no need to continue to play on your own or to be just another number in a guild, when you can have friends to hang out with.

Crow is a true PvX guild. We do plenty of PvE (fractals, dungeons, exploring, open world events, etc), but also special events, small scale WvW, and a bit of PvP. We enjoy hanging out and helping each other with goals. We offer a mature, drama-free community that understands real life comes first.

**FAQs about [Crow]**

Q. When are you most active?

A. Most events start up around 7pm PST / 10pm EST. We are most active during this time for a few hours before and after. We sometimes have activities earlier but mainly NA times.

Q. I'm am new, unexperienced or I've never done ______ (fractals, WvW, dungeons, etc). Can I still join?

A. Absolutely. We were all there once. This is a friendly group that is patient and willing to help you on your journey.

Q. I'm not on Yak's Bend. Can I still join?

A. Sure can. You might not be able to WvW with us until we all get on the same server, but there is plenty we can and will do together.

Q. Do you do raids?

A. We do not focus on raids. We might do them together as a signup event, but we do not have a raid team and it is not on the schedule regularly.

Actually, the designers were awesome. They spent time building platforms and paths below most of the jumps so if you fell , you could glide to these lower platforms and climb back to the last "checkpoint" flag.

It wasn't until I fell a few times that I realized how far they went making the puzzle fun and not so punishing.

Some of my guildies made an incredible jumping puzzle (not just saying that) and then followed it up by taking the video footage and making an awesome video of it all.

The data showing the linked servers from the WvW matches API is still showing the old linking from a few weeks ago.

Could this be fixed?

For example, this link is currently showing Yak's Bend (1003) linked with SoR (1013) while currently YB is linked with Kaineng.

1. Do we know when they will switch up linked servers again?

2. How often does this happen?

Do full worlds still open at random times (middle of the night) throughout the week or just when Anet does their weekly population calculations? If the latter, do we know when that time of the week is?

Maybe a workable suggestion for some variety would be to be able to choose one of your guild logos. I know they can be generated easily enough:

We are smaller than you'd like at this point (a bit over 20) and we plan to stay small so we can feel like we know everyone in the guild. We use Discord for text and voice chat, but it is optional and our guild web site is more informational than a forum. (In other words, every thing happens in game or in Discord.)

We are mainly active in the evenings and base most of our events around 7pm PDT / 10pm EDT but have people on at all hours.

We dabble in WvW and PvP but mainly enjoy PvE together. We also use Discord for voice and text chat. We are mainly focused in the evenings, but have a few people on at all sorts of hours. We would be fine with the schedule if you are. Play with us when you can and you can always stay connected via Discord when you are working odd hours.

Just wanted to share that the Mac client has some weird display issues on my Macbook Pro with retina screen.

I play in Window mode and moving it from screen to screen can cause it to shift and get lost. (I had to delete and re-install from backup to find my window again.)

Also, when I click off the window when it is on the retina screen, I get this odd quarter screen view.

I'd recommend joining a guild. Lots of options and many friendly to new players and map completion.

We don't require voice chat, but do use Discord. It is help if you can listen in for some activities, but it isn't required. Most of the chatter is in guild chat though. Discord text and voice are secondary.
