I think the biggest take away will be **GW2 is a very different game. You need to stop comparing it to {insert past game here}**. Also the game opens up a lot when you have a few weapons to try out, and have unlocked the skills bar a bit too.

    Thank you, Arimir!

Yeah, GW2 is very different to the other MMO's in regards to almost anything. It's really a game you should play to find out the differences to see if you like them, rather than "that's different so It's not a proper mmo".

Plus the GW2 combat just trumps all over MMO's in my opinion. I cant enjoy any combat as much as GW2 now (mmo wise)

Very thankful for those tips, I too as a new player would like time stamps! Completely forgot to add those but thanks to you, I'll get on and add them! Appreciate the feedback!

Thank you for the compliments guys! Really put a smile on my face

  4. Hey guys, so a couple of my real life friends have just started playing Guild wars 2. (these friends have played WoW & ESO).

They were confused on how guild wars 2 works, since it doesn't say ''go here, go there''.

So I decided to make a guide that they could watch, but it could also help out any new players that visit this forum!

(This is for very new players only. Not worth watching if you even know the basics of GW2 already)

This is also my first video so I understand its nothing special. I'm not practised in the art of Youtube haha!

If any of you new players need help, message me in game and I will be willing to help! <3

  5. Hey Frenzy.

I'm looking for a friendly PvE guild to get involved with. I know most people don't bother with dungeons anymore but since I'm a returning player, I feel i would like to get a hold of the dungeons again before jumping into any of the major end game content. People mistake the fact I have 8k AP & two legendaries for the fact that I know what I am doing when in reality I don't remember much about Dungeons what so ever.

So i am looking to join from a new players perspective, more than a returning player. So I'll likely be asking questions & help for any runs since dungeon group finding nowadays is difficult.

If you feel like maybe some of your guildy's would be able to help, then can I please get an invite to the guild? :)

    > Hi there! I can't help much in the guild aspect because my guild doesn't do dungeons much, but I'd be happy to play alongside you and re-explore the game so you can learn about mechanics and all again!

    > Have you thought of creating a new character to relearn the game? Or are you looking to dive into post 80 content like the living world seasons and the expansions?

    > If you don't mind that I'm just one person offering to answer questions and just play alongside you as you relearn the game, you can message me ingame at ShadowDove.8329 or on Discord at sapphyrelily#3918

    Added :)

  7. Hi all, so as the title states, I am looking for a [EU] guild that can help me. I'm more of a new player than returning as so much has changed since I really sat down and played outside of PvP. I was going to create a new account and just start from scratch, but my current account has Twilight & Sunrise along with GEM store purchased skins/outfits so it'd be a waste I guess. The problem is, owning a legendary and 8k AP seems to make people think I should know what I'm doing despite me starting off by telling them I have ZERO current game knowledge. I got into a AC dungeon group and had absolutely NO idea what i was doing or where they wanting to stack etc so they got a bit offensive and said I have previous experience so I should know what I'm doing.

So I am basically asking for a friendly guild who would love to help out a player by running dungeons, helping with any questions and just generally treating me like a new player despite my weapons and AP. EU ofcourse.

    Much love, Evan.
