    > And that's just it. Anet does not publicly state what their actions are toward any players. For all we know, a GM could have whispered to all 60+ of your reported players and gotten a reply from all 60+ of them, which does not violate the CoC. All of us are making assumptions with no basis in fact.

Iagree but their privacy statement is just wrong. I believe is they are more transparant about their way of work, more reports would come in.

(i deliver screenshot included whsipers and than wait around 5 minutes no answer = report). As most work in Clusters of 2 - 5 so lets round the average cluster to 4. Meaning aprox 75m of waiting to report if i am correct for 60 people clustered as 4 people in one area.

Run a senseless bit of story (similar to the one we already do for the raptor), and give them a mount. Older players can say that we did fine without mounts for years... but no one had mounts. As it is now, a player on foot cannot keep up or compete.

    > I don't know how many 'new' players would have the 200 Gold necessary to acquire the Warclaw. If that's what you meant by 'quest'.

Don't know where you got your warclaw. But it is not 200gold. It is 8 gold, but you need pof

A refund for you being late to a yearly festival? Interesting think you got your rights a bit mixed up.

    > The person was asking a question about if something was a possible fix not complaining. Please differentiate the two.

But it is not broken, thus doesn't need fixing. What he is asking is for a change. Which wont happen for sure.

Cause they either have to change how the legy looks or change the absolute position of the com tag.

Both changes will result in other people complaining.

(tag to low, tag to hit, legy doesnt look nice anymore, want money back etc.)

    > @"tink.4791" said:

    > Imo fix the issues with Asura and com tag which have been a issue since the tags was added. The tag is not adjusted to normal hight for all races so if you have a lot of people around you, you will simply not see the tag because it is covered by Norns and Charrs. That would be something worth fixing

If they would make the tag be the highest priority on minimap it is kinda fixed. Now party dots float over the com tag.

  5. Not really a bug, just a possible type mistake:

The exemplar when you reach Siren Shore states: Out and over.

I understand this Examplar never heard of communication protocol, but Out and Over does not exist. It is either Out (ending transmission) or over (Giving the transmission rights to the other person).

Out and Over is a common movie and usage mistake.

(I guess it will involve them being a different species, like wyverns, but surely it would have come up at some point that there are other kinds of dragons in Tyria? Especially in what looks like a new bit of Elona.)

    >

    > Honestly though, right now excitement is winning. I love dragons and the idea of getting to ride one in GW2, where I've had so much fun soaring across the maps on my griffon, is amazing.

    >

    > Now for a personal dilemma: should I be honest with myself and dye it green, or wildly optimistic and dye it gold? Or go with fan service and some changes to my characters backstory and dye it blue because it's my favourite colour? (If you don't get the reference just take this as me rambling on about using GW2 as a replacement for a game I desperately want which will never happen.)

It is not a wyvern, a wyvern has its front legs on its wings, dragons have 4 legs on main body with wings on the back.

Aurene found a love partner i guess.

    > As some of you have pointed out and also with a guild member of mine. That one potential and totally understandable reason why Istan was changed the way it was changed, was because people were using the farm to convert to gems. Thus, Anet was losing out on money from people who would normally purchase gems who instead spent a few hundred hours in Istan to buy whatever gems they needed.

    >

    > It makes sense, a sad sense, but it does make sense.

Anet did not lose money from the conversation why you might ask me. This is because players still buy gems, these same players sell gems, other players buy the gems with gold from the players that bought them with money.

It isn't like you buy the gems from Anet with gold, you buy it from other players who bought it with money.

I have not seen any real (official) reason from Anet of why they changed it. But I do hope they revert back to it was, cause the change came to late. (They should have changed within the first month to be fair)

    > This is your choice. You could simply purchase gems (which helps to keep the servers running).

Even if you purchase the gems with gold indirectly you support Anet, cause other players will keep buying gems as long as other people are willing to pay gold for it.

    > Out of interest, of the people who posted today, how long were you in Istan for today and how much did you make from it? Would be cool if people could report back so we have an idea.

    >

    > Like I said, over one meta and a few map events over an hour and a bit (which felt okay as Istan is usually quite chill in the morning) I made more than I did under the old system.

    >

    > I've never been one to camp it for six hours, but I do stop in now and again and today felt much more profitable.

if you are able to run every day, you might make more. But if you can only play 1 day a week what then. ;-) I normally do 3 to 4 pala runs on a Saturday if I have time but I nearly don't play during the week.

  9. The solution is to teleport to friend, as I said before as a joke I would spam support if they didn't help me. However, this got misinterpreted (which is always possible). the support was really helpful in providing the items to teleport to the area by using a friend. so no need to spam.

if support is not helping send them an image of:

    1) the location where the instance normally starts and show it ain't there

    2) current quest state

    3) screenshot of your current map showing no way point to the area.

    hope they help you.

  10. wrong way to fix something.

better is making is 7x 30 pala and 7x GH per week.

this makes it so that players who play weekends only can do a few runs in the weekend.

However this change will maybe kill istan, too few people to do the content is no content at all. (only fully organized groups will go) way too late to try and fix it should have done within a month of release.

    > And yeah just in case I didn't make this clear enough on behalf of the silent majority: There's a lot of us who rely on that map for having something common we can all do together, that doesn't have the barrier-to-entry stigma that raids and fractals have. People could literally come as they are, have fun, socialize, and fill their pockets while doing it. It was an everybody-wins thing, where the more we worked together, the more everyone won.

    > If anyone here seriously agrees with this change, I strongly encourage you to look at the hundreds of players (and possibly thousands of newer ones) who are likely to lose the communities they couldn't find elsewhere in GW2.

I so agree with you. Just keep it as is currently.

a major oversight by arenanet. if you ha e not played for 5 years that would mean you got some catching up to do I PoF I guess.

will do, I am staring next week with the paths. Have to optimize the routes and then create the routes.

Let's see how long it takes for it to be completed.

it is part of my complete pack. Luckily the path will be creator as soon as I have all the other basics done (icons etc)
