Here's a video of it happening:
-
I experience this frequently in towns, and lately in Thunderhead Peaks (once during an Adventure, and fell off a bridge as a result... ouch). It usually lasts 2 to 5 seconds, then resolves, but sometimes lasts up to 10 seconds, or until I get impatient and just dismount. My marker on the minimap still moves as I use WASD or my mouse, but my character is rendered with her legs in the ground from the knees down, with my camera standing perfectly still behind her. This happens on both my desktop computer (Win 10, RX 580) and my laptop (Ubuntu using Wine, Quadro M1200). I'll see about taking a video capture tomorrow.

I had this happen a few nights ago, but with Zojja during cut scenes in the Crucible of Eternity. What information can I provide to help?
EDIT: CoE Story mode, during the very first cinematic. Her texture was fine outside of the cinematic, during normal gameplay. Also during CoE explorable, submarine path, but I don't remember which cinematic... maybe in the room where you have to bypass the security layers five times? I asked my teammates, and they all said she looked fine during the cinematics for them.

I really appreciated flying over Kralkatorrik. My minimap told me I was moving *fast*, while my eyes looking at Kralkatorrik told me I was moving *slow*. Those things together made me realize just how kitten large Kralkatorrik is.

Thank you both for clearing this up for me. I apparently missed some important plot points about Balthazar already being replaced :)
-
There has been a lot of focus on Aurene replacing Kralkatorrik. The word "Ascend" has been tossed around a lot, too. While digging around, I realized I completely forgot that "Ascension" was also used to describe Kormir absorbing Abaddon's power and becoming a god herself. When we killed Balthazar, there was no blessed human to absorb that power, so Aurene and Kralkatorrik both took a share. Kralkatorrik is likely retreating to the Mists - the home of the Gods - and I can't imagine we won't chase him. While we're there, we may get an opportunity to help replace Balthazar, too.

I don't understand the poll options.
I almost never use emotes, and can't remember the last time I thought "hmm, I really wish there was an emote for X". So new emotes wouldn't detract from my experience in any way, but also wouldn't enhance my experience in any way. I'd much prefer the team work on other things.

Would you be willing to share some of the highlights of your schedule on the forums? What time (time zone included) are the nightly fractals? When do you run the HoT metas? I'd hate to join, only to find out your organized events only happen when I'm at the office or sleeping.

No. It would further divide the community, and people would still get just as frustrated when things don't work on the PBE anyway. "I wanna do this event, ANET should have made it work before releasing it" even though it's not "released", etc.

Your script worked perfectly for me. Thank you for sharing this!

Perfect! Thank you, Kameko. I'll reach out next time I'm online.

My absolute favorite GW2 experiences are map meta events. All of the HoT metas and LS3 event trains are FUN. I enjoy chasing bounties in Crystal Oasis, clearing temples in Orr, and storming the fort in Istan. It's all great. If your guild frequently organizes groups for such content, I'd love to join.

Please teach me how to use Dragon Kick

I've been trying to get the Dragon's Gaze achievement for a good while now, and I understand I'm supposed to use the Dragon Kick skill to interrupt an opponent. I can't get the skill to land. If I'm in melee range, my character jumps straight up in the air and does not hit the opponent. If I'm at range, my character frequently jumps off in a random direction. I must be doing something wrong. What's the trick to landing a Dragon Kick?
Thanks!
