  1. I've resumed playing after about a year (or more), and it seens the nerfs to the Mesmer have piled up; I've been wondering: is the class still useful as support? I've built myself a Diviner (pwr, crit, fer, boon) on a whim back then, and it seens that it has no place anymore. HB or Rev does everything better. Is it still useful, at the very least, as an alacrity support? What gear (besides zerker) should I bring so that I'm useful to a party?

  2. The problem with the game - I think - is that it has become a landfill of wasted content. Too many currencies, maps, game modes; most of it abandoned, poorly balanced. No rewards besides gold and the items on the store that can be bought with it. It needs a lot of rework of stuff rather than just adding crap on top of crap. Feels like their model has backed them in a corner where there's no benefit to adding more stuff. How odd that there's so much stuff but playing the game gives you a pervasive sentiment that there is nothing to do in it (besides farming gold the same way a million times over)?'

  3. Feels like the game is beholden to a model of monetization that does not work. Overall the prices are steep and the value of the product low. Most disappointingly the game itself is going nowhere, it does not improve in any way. Too much legacy and new, pointless content dragging it down.

One thing that bothers me a bit is how the game runs like shit and nothing is adressed in terms of performance and/or the ageing aspect of the game. It does not inspire confidence in it's future.

I stressed it out (the time it happened). I guess it was an honest mistake. What is tricky, I think, is that I have to delete the bogus one again, or else they won't be able to bring back the real one. And that brings back the possibility that they'll just make the same mistake again. How did it come to this? lol.

    > Yes, I can confirm that. In fact, the person I know of that got a character back is @"Steve The Cynic.3217" ... (I deleted one I *wanted* to delete, but I didn't remove her permanent gathering tool set. CS restored the character so I could recover the tools.)

That's very reassuring, thank you. There is another thread about people complaining about ticket times, I reckon something went wrong with the first game? Well, I'll keep on playing the waiting game.

  7. Hi, late at night while attempting to delete a farming character, I misclicked and deleted a very well equiped character of many years. I guess I was tired and I do have the habit of typing things very quickly without thinking; well the point is that I screwed up....

Now, I understand that the Devs can restore characters lost to stupid mistakes such as this one, but what do I do? I've sent them a ticket asking them to restore it, but it's not clear to me if they'll ever answer. Has it happened before to someone in here, is sending them a ticket all I can do? Do they typically comply with their customer's wishes in this case?
