Interesting, the same happened to me since last update, never had lag before or high pings as I'm having since last update, all other games run as usual but GW2...

I'm giving a few days before contacting support in case of temporary server issue or ISP issues but based on the network tests the package loss seems to be happening at server level

Honestly, mesmer and of course mirage and chrono are what makes gw professions to be different than other games, too many games with classic paladin/guard, warriors/berserkers, thief/assassins/ninjas, rangers, necros...

Maybe engineer is also different... But mesmer and its playstyle is very unique IMO and is something or was something that felt new and fresh

Don't get me wrong, I love to play all other classes, but Anet did something different with mesmer and just feels good and different to the rest even with the nerfs

The idea from OP is not exactly a buff and it doesn't destroy pve either... what would be ideal is that skills keep refreshing in real time (like in many other games) where the cooldown keeps being active even on map changes, if you had ONE charge then you change map and you will still have ONE charge while the cd is running. Not only for FB but for other classes is the same.

1) Aurora, because never did anything when it came out and just finished the collection about 6 months. Painful but worth it!

2) Legendaries, the ones that required a full collection like astralaria or nevermore, main reason because when I do a leggy my motivation is the solo journey even for fractals and some of them could be a kitten without group, by hey I got them at the end by myself :)

Jaunt: CD reduced to 0, also charges reduced to 0 :disappointed: :P

jokes aside, hopefully they won't destroy mesmer based on kitten "OP" forum posts but they work on something that makes sense

I play mirage so I'm happy (even with nerfs, etc) in OW, Fractals/Raids and WvW, when I don't play mirage is because my pc is off :P out of jokes, when not playing mirage I play scourge, FB, Core/Spell Warrior or Ranger SB, but most hours into my mirage, the other chars are more for farming or for wvw zergs

If gold is not a problem, then you are missing a GREAT mount, I did the full collection within two days for my wife's account (last sat and sunday) and it took some time of waiting but the maps were not dead and she LOVES so no time wasted if I enjoy playing the game

The other thing that you can do is to learn to play against mirages, that's how if have defeated mirages, as well as SBs, Guardians, Warriors, etc. and other times they get me and defeat me, as well as other classes, but if you expect to ALWAYS win against a mirage then good luck because there will always be better people than you that will defeat you (at least talking from a wvw perspective). Always carry some type of condi cleanser as you will find always hybrid and condi builds. Sorry the only thing I find absurd in this post is the post itself.

The problem is that Mirage now joined the train of other specialization where elite skills don't really feel fun or dangerous anymore, they feel more like an utility than an skill that on the right time can change a game. :disappointed:

If you are in a guild, most likely they will ask you to run one of the "guild builds" which are the same meta builds that you see in metabattle. If you like to roam, people now prefer hybrid or power; I run hybrid with axe/t-p and staff, sometimes GS, depending of the "mood" :)

Both have advantages and disadvantages, a REALLY GOOD mirage on power could be deadly and they will try to burst kill you, but if that fails, the continuous smaller burst and damage over time from hybrid normally will succeed. Also it will depend of your playstyle, I like the "thick" of the combat instead of engaging and disengaging like power normally does.

There are many open squads that don't really care much if you run meta or not, they care more that you help build when taking keeps, towers, etc.

My advise, play what you enjoy and don't be forced to play something just because someones says so, this applies to any mode :)

Piece of advice, try to create a title that explains what you are trying to get from the post, "How?" doesn't really say anything and most people will just pass it by :)

Unfortunately the series of events keep locked and not enough people to move to another map that might not be bugged

Already reported in game as a bug but leaving it here as well just in case as I haven't seen a post related to this issue.

The chain of events to "retake" the Cathedral of Glorious Victory seem to be bugged as multiple players have been saying the same on map chat during the last four days. It has happened to me at least four times already where after the first event is successfully completed, no additional events are triggered, we already tried all different possible chains and none of them seem to be working so the map has remained pretty much blocked during the last four days.

Actually both of you are right that it does conceal and it doesn't conceal :blush:

yeah the issue came again, support fixed it for me a few days ago but again not able to purchase gems with debit, credit or even paypal, not working on mine or wife's account either, tried fully resetting the connection and request a new ip address from my ISP and nothing :( had to go to support again so see if they can fix it

Same here, quick error message during the last screen and not able to purchase any gems in my account while my wife's no issues :( already opened a ticket via support - purchase problems.
