The one where the only class in the game that doesn't have iframes or blocks doesn't get completely shafted ?

I played BDO during beta and when it launched. PvP was utter garbage because skill literally did not matter if the other guy had incrementally higher AP/DP than you. The fact that there was an actual RNG factor in the Evasion stat is also unforgivable. I hit my attack, the game telling me I didn't based on a dice roll is just not ok on any level.

This was most definitely intended. Anet never wanted cleaving downed people to be as outright better than stomping as it became prior to the February patch last year. I think it's a healthy change. If a change does have to be made it should be something that keeps cleaving downed people somewhat ineffective but slows down the ressing itself like making the ress heal ramp up happen slower or something.

    > -Traits that help with resurrection are now a lot stronger and can at times pretty much instantly revive someone. **Blood necro is especially strong at this**.

Are you aware that Transfusion and Lesser Well of Blood revives for just 1% each in PvP? You pretty much only take Ritual of Life these days so you get an auto heal on yourself and a ticking heal to help sustain you while you ress. It practically does nothing to actually speed up the ressing process. It just helps you tank cleave while you ress if anything. Same with Transfusion. If you slot it in a build, you just want the heal for sustain, although moving downed people to you can be good.

  4. Warrior does it right, mostly anyway. I sure a few of you remember pre-nerf Skull Grinder back when it was nearly instant cast, that was pretty bullshit. But otherwise I think Warrior is the best example of good visual cues.

Mesmer, Thief and Revenant has some of the worst visual cues.

Necro has several skills that should have better cues though, but at the same time Necro is also the class with the most cast time in the game. Should probably be fixed anyway, it's better if it becomes weaker if the result is a better game

This say the opposite unless I'm completely daft

  6. Did they ever fix Lich projectiles literally being unable to hit Turrets because the projectile spawn point is too high above the Turret hitbox?

I know it used to be worse early on in the game when you could shut down Lich completely by standing inside the Lich since that meant you couldn't be hit by the auto at all. But that got kinda fixed.

  7. I wouldn't mind seeing Reaper get slower movement speed and slower attack speed than even the current base un-Quicknessed cast times in return for higher shroud damage reduction, slower shroud degen and more stability or just flat out CC immunity while in shroud like the old Shade trait.

Lich can get deleted in PvP I guess. Just make the Elite cast Summon Madness and Grim Spectre on a short cooldown instead. I do love those skills.

  8. I like the Necro one even if its very rarely used. The fact that it costs a flat 10k health to cast and can be interrupted while still incurring the health cost is a really good trade-off balancewise. Though I'm not sure what could be done to give the other ones a similar trade-off. Maybe 50% reduced healing for a few seconds on Ele and immunity to boon application for a few secs on the Guard one. Being able to cast it while in Mistform definitely has to be fixed though. Even if it costs two utilities to do it it's far too strong when combined with Renewal of Water.

    > That is not an animation dude. I'm sorry.

The Spinal Shivers animation is almost as visible as something like Decapitate. The Necro gets a big black smoke cloud around their hand and will wave their hand back and forth before pushing outwards with it. The black smoke stuff on the hand even leaves trails.

If you know the Nec is on his A/F set and you see smoky black trails you should probably try dodging.

Here's where I gotta point out that 2v2 and 3v3 balance is largely irrelevant and shouldn't get any developer attention unless something blatantly breaks the mode completely. Even then it must not be anything that can have repercussions in 5v5. It's just for funsies to mess around between seasons and ATs.

The answer to your question though is to use the stairs and to jump between the two platforms up top. I specifically dislike playing Reaper on that map because its so easy to get kited on it.
