I'd have to say that it's worse.

This is due, mainly, to the troll's perception of anonymity.

I suspect that if this were IRL they'd be to timid to engage.

So you expect people to prove your point for you.

    Got it.

    done here.

Actually it's not "intuitive". You're using anecdotes as proof.

To provide hard evidence to support you assertion isn't a ridiculous request because it's up to you to prove your point, not us.

Have people left the game? sure it's not uncommon and happens to all games but to say "the game struggles to retain players despite its many positives." based solely on 9 out 10 people you know and few others you've spoken with is hardly a solid foundation for your assertion.

So yes, hyperbole is an apt description.

I beg to differ. As someone who played GW1 I can attest to the fact that allowing a more "free-form" set up and greater skill/build choices did not cause the problem you suggest. in fact, it was rather easy to find/make effective builds **_and_** share them.

What the OP suggests would be interesting but I doubt GW2 is able to offer that at this point.

To be honest, I was never enamored of locking skills to weapons as I felt it was rather limiting in scope. However as a, ridiculously, long time fan of Anet and player of GW as a whole I make do and enjoy the game.

    NOT. A. JUMPING PUZZLE!

This not even a puzzle by definition. There is a very clearly defined and linear path with the only obstacle being the gaps your Raptor must leap over.

Furthermore, you only -have- to use the raptor for the achievement (I believe)

    > 5. You eliminate PM's and killed my guild (5 years-1200 members- GONE because I just wont recruit by spamming map chat)

Please expound on how PM's (I assume to mean private messages) have been eliminated and how your guild disbanding is Anets fault.

All in all, I see no legitimacy to your complaints, just melodrama for the sake of melodrama.

  6. Will it happen? who can say.

However, if Anet decides to go that route, I suspect that Xbox will be the first to get it as, and correct me if I'm wrong here, the current iteration of Xbox supports mouse and keyboard where playstation does not (and last I heard, won't ever).

Fairly certain that the select screen shows where your selected character is in the game.

Someone had told me Anet may never take Gw2 to Cantha because the culture Cantha was based on did'nt want to allow that is this true? id be very sad if we never got to return to the beautiful place.

DING! DING! Let the Cantha fight begin again.

Nooo, I avoid the challenge mote and made sure my wife did as well.

  10. A bit of backstory: I've been playing GW2 since beta and GW1 before that, so I am familiar with the game mechanics.

Now, I have beaten Moth breath 3 times Solo.

Once on my Engineer, my Necro (reaper elite) and on my Revenant (renegade elite using Scorchrazer/stonehammer). I won't say it was easy and I had to do the fight a couple times each but I won.

However, when I go to help my wife we've had to wipe a number of times (far more then I had to alone) and I'm at a loss as to why. Seems to me that, if anything, the fight should be easier with 2 people.

We also adjusted her Guardian using a Power DPS build.

She does as I instruct and lets me handle the blight clones while she tags them and/or Moth Brain and waits for the rifts to open. But no matter what we do, we cannot bring it down.

So what I'm curious to know is if ol' Mordy scales in strength based on the number of players arrayed against him.

    Any insight is welcome.

You're 100% correct, I tend to opt for ruling out all possible issues just to be certain.
