A returning player who mained mesmer for 2,000 hours or so but havent played the game properly since I was hardcore WVW raiding a good 4 or 5 years ago when focus group was still a part of the meta. Seems like that has gone now, so what is a mesmer's purpose in large scale wvw now? If any at all :angry:

Returning after a couple of year's off. I used to (and still do i guess!) play mesmer/chrono/mirage. When i was playing with my old team back in the day I would reguarly sit in top 100 leader boards. Just looking for some people to play with using discord/teamspeak because playing solo can be very frustrating! Just want to climb the ladder and play tournaments really! Do drop me a message if your guild/team is recruiting!

I'm finally coming back after 2 years! Have about 2,000 hours in game mostly spent in wvw and pvp on my Mesmer. Just wandering what the state of the game is pvp/wvw and if it's worth getting involved again?
