Impossible to transfer

Hi Guys.

I have the game since 2012 and decided to give it another go.

I just purchased the extensions to be able to play with my friend, and i tried to do a world transfer so we would be together but it still asks me to pay 500 gems .... aren't we supposed to get a free transfer with the purchase of the extension ?

- only f2p -> extension gives a free transfer

- an account without any charackter can also transfer for free

 

To play PvE or PvP together you only need to be both NA or both EU, but the world does only matter if you want to play WvW together.

 

The idea behind charging money for WvW-Transfers, is to reduce balance disturbing transfers, but it in fact it never worked, the amount of transfer-paying WTJ's is still far to large for balanced matchups.
