Fierlor.2697
I'm getting this problem too, I thought my screen resolution was out of wack. But I checked and it's on the right screen resolution however everything looks huge like I'm playing on 800x600 or some other smaller res. **_edit: FIXED. I unchecked DPI Scaling and it fixed my issue. _**
ArenaNet Staff Chris Cleary.8017 Posted October 18, 2017 ArenaNet Staff Share Posted October 18, 2017 You are forcing your client into 32 bit mode with -32 as a command line argument while being on a 64 bit OS, which is causing the DPI scaling to kick in inadvertently but forcing you out of configuring it in-game. We'll look into the issue. For now I would suggest running in 64 bit mode.
Pookie.1078
I have exactly the same problem - running 32-bit client on 32-bit Windows 10. DPI Scaling Tickbox cannot be unchecked. Graphics changes look awful. May I respectfully suggest that if DPI Scaling is to truly be an 'option', then by default it should be set OFF. ArenaNet Staff Chris Cleary.8017 Posted October 18, 2017 ArenaNet Staff Share Posted October 18, 2017 We agree, and this (and possibly other) changes (such as turning off in-game will be respected by the launcher as well) will likely be coming with the next hotfix or game release. For now I would suggest running in 64 bit mode. My laptop sadly has issues with the 64bit mode (ram dependent), is there a command line to turn off DPI scaling aswell?
