Constructive Criticism for Anet "Balance Pass"

Okay your Manifest Sand Shade does not say "Can't affect a target more than once per use" Because it was Intentional. Once you understand the Mechanic is replacing Life Blast / Reaper auto. It makes sense you take away our Shroud security blanket, you give us an auto-attack at range that Synergies well with our Traits, Might / Vulnerability / Dhumfire, at 900 range. Our Resource cost is High we spend Life force we focus on maintaining it etc. Unlike Rev's that Just get Energy for free all day long, and Auto-Crit by the way.

 

The whole 3 small shades overlapping with player for 400% dmg on Shade Strike was stupid, the whole concept of 3 small shades that are so tiny you can walk around them only works if a players uses them to overlap for powerful effect. So just remove them. Make the balance easier. There is absolutely No Reason at all to run them unless you are abusing a game mechanic. Just remove them and give the Large shade back like it was. Then you fix PVP you fix Scourge, you balance counter to Rev Hammers etc. And Why on EARTH would you take away the major counter balance to your Ashes of the Just non-sense in WvW? A 20 man squad with 12 Firebrands will burst so much fire on your group 5 or 6 players will die in 1 second at 1200 range. You said you were gonna Nerf the Condi dmg, changing Scourge WAS not nerfing Condi... You completely missed the point. The strong point of Scourge was its power dmg. Condi dmg only happens to bad players that don't have resistance. So warriors are now the only class anyone will run in PVP, and WVW will be ashes of the Just cancer, with no Scourges to clear condies at all.

 

It was already balanced, you wanna fix it for the game mode change the way Dhumfire works. Make it a 2 second burn, and Change the way Fire calculates dmg anyway 121 dmg per stack per second for free is over powered. It means you can build mostly power/support Firebrands and still put 24 Burn stacks on the other squad driver for 8k dmg per second at 1200 range. Delivered by a mostly free 4 second skill on a Rev hammer... Its Just hard to comprehend how you think thats balanced but Scourge at 900 range is OP?

Anet Reverse the Changes in WvW... Do it now before the rest of the world realizes how you just completely Kittened an Entire game mode. It is going to Be Ashes of the Cancer all day now with NO one to clear it. NO ONE! And They will just push right into you and drop F1 - 4 cuz you have no Shade Overlap to punish that play. You clearly don't understand Squad fighting in WvW. Well We knew that already... You missed the only reason we play your game is for WvW when you forgot to include any changes to WvW in your Path of Fire expansion. So what do you care if you just made our lives even worse with a 2 second change to F2 on necro and removing his ability to do dmg. The thing you did was Kill him in WvW unless there is some way reaper survives a push in this Meta which I don't think it can. Just 4 Firebrands and a ranger is all any party ever needs...
