What are you up to?" because your character just stands there like they are reliving a childhood trauma? Me too. The other day I bumped into post somewhere when a player mentioned how cool would it be to have more emotes. What I was thinking of is how cool would it be if we had these kind of "Standby" animations for the character. Browsing inventory? Character is trying to find something in their bag. Checking build, skills, masteries? Reading some kind of magic book. Reading mails? Reading mails. PVP window? Doing stuff... with your... weapons, I don't know... Browsing on Trading post? Get that gold bag out and count dem moniez. Outfit change? "Oh which one to wear today, this red or this black shirt?" Dying clothes? Flasks, paint, mixing colours... And the best one: reading an actual map when you are on the map. Would look fun wouldn't it? I would love seeing people everywhere, especially who tries to dye their clothes in the middle of the raid HA! If I can recall it correctly this was used in TESO as well. SmirkDog.3160 Posted October 18, 2017 Share Posted October 18, 2017 It would definitely be cool, and breathe a bit of life into piles of people standing at the bank or something. Instead of everyone being weird statues it could show actual activity. It would also be nice to having one that shows you're typing (if in /say or /map, and only show it for someone if you're in the same party or something). I know back in the day when I was a wee lad and played Second Life, there were typing animations and an AFK one that just has your upper body slumped forward.
