Is this a good reaper build for return player?

I'm returning after many many years. I have a boost and once I get cap level for Necro, is this a good build for both my PvE/PvP needs?

Anything works for open world. I would change a few things because I dont like some utils he is using. But PvP, nah this seems more like a PVE only build.

For PvE, pretty much yeah.

 

Only thing is you take **Well of Darkness** over **Shadow Fiend** these days and **Signet of Vampirism** over **"Your Soul is Mine"**.

 

For WvW, you'd run **Axe/Focus** + **Staff** with _Marauder_ gear and your utilities would be **Consume Conditions**/**Well of Darkness**/**Well of Corruption**/**Well of Suffering**/**Lich Form** as well as the traits **Relentless Pursuit** in _Reaper_ and **Soul Marks** in _Soul Reaping_.

 

For PvP, you'd ditch _Spite_ and take _Blood Magic_ with the traits **Ritual of Liife**, **Vampiric Presence** and **Unholy Martyr**. You'd also run **Axe/Focus** + **Staff** as well as the **Soul Marks** trait in _Soul Reaping_

For utilities, you'd run **Consume Conditions**/**Spectral Armor**/**Spectral Walk**/**Lich Form**

 

With the 3rd utility slot being a choice of **Flesh Wurm** for the mobility, **Corrupt Boon** for more boon removal or **Spectral Grasp** for some extra CC.
