Flee.5602
Gw2 is a competitive fighting game. [Reflex] This technology reduces the input delay of the mouse and keyboard. Edit:https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/52019/rtx-graphics-card-supports-the-effect-of-ray-tracing-will-gw2-update-this-project-later#latest This is my post 2 years ago about NVIDIA RTX technology. I did buy an RTX graphics card afterwards. A display supported by the latest technology NVIDIA Reflex. This type of display often also has G-SYNC chip technology. I was attracted. Gw2 belongs to MMORPG. WvW large team battles often have low FPS (Reflex + G-SYNC chips must be a great combination)
Widmo.3186
Long story short: no.
lare.5129
how I understand reason to support this is exist only if Nvidia pay for it to promote that. And how I understand Nvidia don't have plan pay Anet for implementation ..No? so // no money - no funny
Psykewne.3025
You'd need a bleeding edge competitive environment to warrant this sort of stuff being worthwhile. GW2 does not have the level of twitch based gameplay to see much benefit from this.

Infusion.7149
https://www.techspot.com/article/2123-nvidia-reflex-rtx/ > This makes Reflex a useful feature primarily for casual competitive gamers; the people that want to play Fortnite but don’t want to sacrifice visual quality, don’t want to play at 1080p or just don’t have the most powerful hardware. Turn on Reflex, your system latency will drop, and that improvement to responsiveness might make you a bit better at the game. > > On the flip side, **Reflex is next to useless for competitive gamers**. If you’re the sort of person that already has a latency optimized setup – so you’re already playing at 1080p on powerful hardware with low settings to ensure you’re getting the highest possible frame rate – Reflex will have no benefit whatsoever. **That’s because you’re almost certainly CPU limited**, and Reflex is ineffective in those situations. This holds true even in situations with mid-range GPUs like an RTX 2060 in titles like Fortnite and Valorant when gaming at low quality settings. GW2 is a CPU limited game, what makes you think this will be beneficial given the resources it will take to implement it?
Junkpile.7439
Maybe they can use this technology in GW2 WvW LAN tournaments where ping is much lower.

Hamsters dont run faster just because they at a lan tournament.
KrHome.1920
As others have said reflex eliminates latency originated in the rendering pipeline after the cpu has finished a frame. So it works only if your cpu renders faster than your gpu. If you are cpu bound or you use a frame limiter (which is basically a cpu performance limiter) to achieve a constant input latency (which is the most important thing at all), then reflex is completely useless.
