Dear heavens, that would only happen in very, very unusual cases! bigchu -- your friend's situation was a bit more time-consuming because it required account ownership verification. Everyone would want us to take those steps, because that's one of the ways we keep accounts safe from theft. At this point, the ticket is well on its way, in fact a CS agent is awaiting your friend's response (and the friend was not at their PC during an earlier conversation).
