Friend is locked out

Tickets have never been delayed 2-4 weeks! Dear heavens, that would only happen in very, very unusual cases!

 

bigchu -- your friend's situation was a bit more time-consuming because it required account ownership verification. Everyone would want us to take those steps, because that's one of the ways we keep accounts safe from theft. At this point, the ticket is well on its way, in fact a CS agent is awaiting your friend's response (and the friend was not at their PC during an earlier conversation). I anticipate this'll all be settled up today.

There have been many reports from customers here since PoF was announced that their tickets have indeed taken weeks to receive a response. That is where forum members that have been responding to the "What is the delay on my ticket" type posts got their information from. That is all we had to go by so if it was incorrect I suppose we were in the wrong.
