leasm.1279 Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 **Ranger's Torch 4** is not a bad skill, but what bugs me is that it's a plain downgraded version from **Guardian's Torch 4**. I understand we can't compare professions since balance gets more complex in the whole context, but in this case it's pretty much the exact same skill, even same cooldown, only worse. Not even to say Rangers have to focus on 3 different condis, while Guardians can focus entirely on burn. I propose giving Ranger's Torch 4 just a little twist, such as adding splash burn in a small radius around the target. Just **1 stack of burning on 180 radius** would be enough to better differentiate the skills :) Edit: Also blind seems nice, as someone else suggested. Maybe twist it a bit more to have both so Throw Torch burns and blinds it's target, and if the target is already on fire, it also burns nearby foes around the target. They could also add an ammunition mechanic to it to give it a little bit more of an interactive feature. An ammunition mechanic on dagger 5 would be sweet too.
